"Rendez-Vous" is a 1998 song recorded by German Eurodance band Culture Beat featuring American singer Kim Sanders. It was released as the second single from their fourth studio album, Metamorphosis (1998), and peaked at number 38 in Austria, number 48 in Sweden and number 53 in Germany. A music video was also produced to promote the single.

Culture Beat is a German Eurodance project formed in 1989 by Torsten Fenslau. The act has gone through a number of lineup changes over the years; they achieved the most success whilst fronted by singer Tania Evans and rapper Jay Supreme. Their 1993 single "Mr. Vain" was a number-one hit in eleven European countries, and the act is thought to have sold more than 10 million records worldwide.

The Eurovision Young Musicians 1992 was the sixth edition of the Eurovision Young Musicians, held at Cirque Royal in Brussels, Belgium on 9 June 1992. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Radio Télévision Belge Francophone (RTBF), musicians from eight countries participated in the televised final. A total of thirteen countries took part in the competition. All participants performed a classical piece of their choice accompanied by the Belgian National Orchestra, conducted by Ronald Zollman. Hungary and Poland made their début, while France, Greece, previous winners Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, Portugal and Sweden withdrew from the 1992 contest.

Andreea Bănică (Romanian pronunciation: [anˈdree̯a bəˈnikə] is a Romanian singer. She was part of the group Exotic, alongside Claudia Pătrăşcanu and Julia Chelaru. She subsequently formed the band Blondy with Cristina Rus. Afterwards, she started a solo career, winning awards at ceremonies including the Romanian Music Awards, Romanian Top Hits, MTV European Music Awards and the Balkan Music Awards. Her songs "Love In Brazil" and "Sexy" reached number one in Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia.

The song represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, placing second, after winning the pre-selection competition Eurovision France, c'est vous qui décidez! The single was certified Platinum in August 2021. The song tells a personal story of Pravi's about self-acceptance.
