Culture Beat is a German Eurodance project formed in 1989 by Torsten Fenslau. The act has gone through a number of lineup changes over the years; they achieved the most success whilst fronted by singer Tania Evans and rapper Jay Supreme. Their 1993 single "Mr. Vain" was a number-one hit in eleven European countries, and the act claims to have sold more than 10 million records worldwide.
"Policy of Truth" is a song by English electronic music band Depeche Mode, released on 7 May 1990 as the third single from their seventh studio album Violator (1990). It is the only Depeche Mode single to chart higher on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart than on the UK Singles Chart, and it became the band's second chart-topper on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart.
"Desire" is a song by Irish rock band U2 and the third track on their 1988 album, Rattle and Hum. It was released as the album's lead single on 19 September 1988, and became the band's first number-one single in the United Kingdom and Australia. It reached number three on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States, and topped both the Modern Rock Tracks and Mainstream Rock Tracks charts, making it the first song to reach number one on both charts simultaneously. It reached number two on the Dutch Top 40. At the 31st Annual Grammy Awards, "Desire" won the 1988 Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal.
"L'amour toujours" is a song co-written and recorded by the Italian DJ Gigi D'Agostino. The song was released to American clubs and dance radio in July 2000. In Europe, the song was released in October 2000. The song is from D'Agostino's 1999 album of the same name. Ola Onabule is the vocalist of this song. He performs all the vocals on the track and on all versions of the song. It became an international success and a huge hit throughout Europe, Latin America, Asia and Canada. In 2001, the song became extremely popular in the American dance club scene, peaking at number 78 on the Billboard Hot 100 on 15 September 2001. The album version has a different mix, which was used as the single version in the United States except with vocal samples from "Bla Bla Bla" added.
"Walk On By" is a song composed by Burt Bacharach, with lyrics by Hal David, for singer Dionne Warwick in 1963. The song peaked at number 6 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 1 on the Cash Box Rhythm and Blues Chart In June 1964 and was nominated for a 1965 Grammy Award for the Best Rhythm and Blues Recording. Isaac Hayes recorded the song five years later, in 1969, and reached number 30 on the Hot 100 chart and number 13 in the R&B charts with his version. "Walk On By" has since charted numerous times in various countries, with wildly different arrangements.
"Oye Mi Canto (Hear My Voice)" is a song by Cuban-American singer-songwriter Gloria Estefan, released as a single from her debut solo album, Cuts Both Ways (1989). In the US, it was the fourth single from the album and was released in April 1990. It was the second single in the UK, released on September 4, 1989, and throughout Europe in September and October 1989.

The song was written by Steven Levis, Nosie Katzmann and Jay Supreme, and produced by Torsten Fenslau. Tania Evans is the lead vocalist and Supreme is the rapper.
Horizon is the debut album by German group Culture Beat. It was released on 8 March 1991 by Dance Pool. The album featured their first hit, "No Deeper Meaning", which reached No. 5 in the Netherlands.

The ballad is written by Nosie Katzmann with Jay Supreme, Torsten Fenslau and Peter Zweie. It was a top-10 hit in Finland and the Netherlands. In the United Kingdom, it peaked at number 20. Its music video was directed by Matt Broadley and filmed in Sweden.
"That's the Way of the World" is a 1990 song by British dance producer D Mob featuring singer Cathy Dennis. It went to number-one on the US dance charts for one week and was the second number-one single for D Mob in which Cathy Dennis performed the vocals, and the fourth and final release to reach number-one for D Mob. The accompanying music video was directed by British director Howard Greenhalgh.
"Your Crown" is a song by the Danish dance-pop duo Infernal. It features the Danish singer and actress Xenia Lach-Nielsen, and was released as the fifth single from Infernal's debut album, Infernal Affairs, in 1999. The song is written by the German songwriter Nosie Katzmann, and it is the only Infernal single ever to feature a different female lead vocalist than Lina Rafn. It peaked at No. 2 on the Danish Airplay Chart, making it the most successful single from the album in terms of airplay.
Love On Love is a 1989 song by English electronic music group E-Zee Possee featuring Dr. Mouthquake. It peaked at number 59 on the UK Singles Chart and number 30 on the US Billboard Dance Music/Club Play Singles chart.

The single peaked at number one in Belgium and was also a huge hit in Spain, where it reached number two. Additionally, it peaked within the top 20 in Denmark and Iceland. There were made two different music video for the song.

Written by Nosie Katzmann, it was a top-20 hit in several countries, like Austria, Finland and Germany. On the Eurochart Hot 100, it peaked at number 65 in February 1997.
"Magic Carpet Ride" is a song by British duo Mighty Dub Katz, which consisted of DJ, musician and record producer Norman Cook and his former flatmate Gareth Hansome. It was first released in 1995 and is their biggest hit to date, peaking within the top 10 in Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. The song contains a sample of Chakachas' recording "Yo Soy Cubano" from 1970, and Sandee's recording "Notice Me" from 1988. The male vocals are based on Laid Back's "White Horse". A black-and-white music video was shot to accompany the song.
"Missing You" is a song by British Contemporary R&B band Soul II Soul, released in November 1990 as the fourth and last single from their second album, Vol. II: 1990 – A New Decade (1990). It features American singer-songwriter Kym Mazelle and was a top 30 hit in Ireland and the UK. Outside Europe, it peaked at number nine in Zimbabwe, number 39 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart in the US and number 166 in Australia. A black-and-white music video was produced to promote the single. It shows Mazelle and Jazzie B dancing together on a dancefloor while performing it.
"Is Everybody Happy" is a song by American actor and singer David Hasselhoff. Produced by Jack White, and written by he and Charles Blackwell, the song was released in June 1989 as the second single from Hasselhoff's third studio album Looking for Freedom (1989). It also served as the follow-up single from the album's title track, which was a number-one hit in Germany for eight weeks. The song did well commercially, reaching the top-ten in Germany and Switzerland.
