By the judges' score cards, Garrido had placed 3rd runner-up. Only 24 hours after being crowned, Garrido handed over her crown and sash to Riza Santos, the rightful Miss Universe Canada 2013. She went on to win Miss Galaxy Canada in 2020 and held the title for two years 2021. Currently, she is Miss Galaxy Canada Northern Canada 2023.

Nineteen candidates from different states and territories competed for the title, and a model from New South Wales, Renera Thompson, was named Miss Grand Australia 2014, with Breanna Herbert from Victoria as the vicemiss, while a Filipina-Austrian model/TV presenter from Sydney, Yvonne Amores, was elected Miss Supranational Australia 2014.
