Repo! The Genetic Opera: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack to the 2008 rock opera of the same name. The entire album is in the form of a rock opera, where every song is part of the same story. The songs do not appear on the album in chronological order.
Due to popular demand, the producers released a deluxe version of the soundtrack in February 2009 with additional tracks that included songs and pieces of the score.
The standard soundtrack is available only through Amazon.com. It is manufactured on demand on CD-R recordable media. [2]

Repo! The Genetic Opera: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Deluxe Edition) is an extended version of the original soundtrack to Repo! The Genetic Opera.
All the tracks from the previous release remain on the deluxe edition in the same order, with the new tracks placed in between some tracks. The only track that appears on both albums that differs is Zydrate Anatomy, where it is slightly longer on the deluxe edition.
The deluxe edition also contains score tracks. It is only available at selected Hot Topic stores, but not in the online shop.

A 7-track album entitled Repo! The Genetic Opera: Selections from the Premiere Cast was released on September 27, 2002, over 6 years before the film's release. The soundtrack consists of early versions of the songs used in the film, recorded by Repo! creators Darren Smith, Terrance Zdunich, and the premiere cast of the stage play.
The Pre-Surgery Sampler was released July 24, 2008 at a secret location on the film's official site. Hardcopies were also released at a convention on the same date.

Kevin Graham Ogilvie, known professionally as Nivek Ogre, is a Canadian musician, performance artist and actor, best known for his work with the industrial music group Skinny Puppy, which he co-founded with cEvin Key. Since 1982, he has served as Skinny Puppy's primary lyricist and vocalist, occasionally providing instrumentation and samples. Ogre's charismatic personality, guttural vocals and use of costumes, props, and fake blood on stage helped widen Skinny Puppy's fanbase and has inspired numerous other musicians.

Teddie Joe Neeley is an American singer, actor, musician, composer, and record producer. He is known for portraying the title role in Jesus Christ Superstar (1973), a role for which he was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards and has reprised numerous times.
Alexa Ellesse PenaVega is an American actress and singer. She is known for her roles as Carmen Cortez in the first four Spy Kids films and Julie Corky in the 2004 film Sleepover. In 2009, she starred as the title character Ruby Gallagher in the ABC Family series Ruby & the Rockits.
The Black Mages were a Japanese instrumental rock band formed in 2002 by Nobuo Uematsu, Kenichiro Fukui and Tsuyoshi Sekito, who were three video game composers for Square and Square Enix. The band arranged Uematsu's Final Fantasy video game series-based compositions in a hard rock style often similar to progressive metal, achieved with the additional use of synthesizers. A year later the band expanded to six members with the addition of Keiji Kawamori, Michio Okamiya and Arata Hanyuda. In August 2010, Uematsu announced the band had been disbanded, but he would continue to perform rock arrangements of his music as a part of another similar band, known as the Earthbound Papas.
Michael Shawn Crahan, more commonly known by his stage persona "Clown", is an American musician. He is the co-founder and one of the percussionists for heavy metal band Slipknot, in which he is designated #6. Crahan helped form Slipknot in 1995 alongside bassist Paul Gray and former vocalist Anders Colsefni. Crahan is the longest-serving and only remaining original member of Slipknot, and also has extensive involvement with Slipknot's media production and music videos. Be the Void is the seventh album by psychedelic rock band Dr. Dog. It was released on February 7, 2012. It is the band's second release on the ANTI- record label after moving from Park the Van, and was co-produced by Nathan Sabatino and Dr. Dog.
The Devil's Carnival is a 2012 American musical horror film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and starring Sean Patrick Flanery, Briana Evigan, Jessica Lowndes, Paul Sorvino, Emilie Autumn and Terrance Zdunich. The film marks the second collaboration of Bousman and writer/actor Terrance Zdunich, their previous work being the musical film Repo! The Genetic Opera. The film also brings back several of the cast members of Repo!, such as Sorvino, Alexa Vega, Bill Moseley and Nivek Ogre. The Devil's Carnival has Aesop's Fables and other folklore at the core of its story, with the main characters each representing a fable. Flanery's character John represents "Grief and His Due", Evigan's character Merrywood represents "The Dog and Its Reflection", and Lowndes' character Tamara represents "The Scorpion and the Frog", an animal fable that seems to have first emerged in Russia.
Joseph Bishara is an American composer, music producer, and actor, best known for his work scoring films such as Insidious, 11-11-11, Dark Skies, and The Conjuring. Although his career began with the 1998 Biblical drama Joseph's Gift, he composes music for mainly horror and thriller films, and has collaborated several times with director James Wan. Projects by directors John Carpenter and Joseph Zito, and musicians Ray Manzarek and Diamanda Galás have incorporated his work. In addition to composing, he frequently appears in films he is involved in, usually made up as a demon or other supernatural creature. He has also been a producer on Repo! The Genetic Opera and other projects.
