"Kung Fu Fighting" is a disco song by Jamaican vocalist Carl Douglas, with production by British-Indian musician Biddu. It was released as a single in 1974 on the cusp of a chopsocky film craze and rose to the top of the British, Australian, Canadian and American charts, in addition to reaching the top of the Soul Singles chart. It received a Gold certification from the RIAA in 1974 and popularized disco music. It eventually went on to sell eleven million records worldwide, making it one of the best-selling singles of all time. The song uses the quintessential Oriental riff, a short musical phrase that is used to signify Chinese culture.
"The Tide Is High" is a 1966 song written by John Holt, originally produced by Duke Reid and performed by the Jamaican group The Paragons, with Holt as lead singer. The song gained international attention in 1980, when a version by the American band Blondie became a US/UK number one hit. The British girl group Atomic Kitten also had a number one hit with their version of the song in 2002, while Canadian rapper Kardinal Offishall had a minor hit with his interpretation in 2008.

Released on 13 August 2001, the song was written by Richard Stannard, Julian Gallagher, Martin Harrington, Abs Breen, Jason "J" Brown and Sean Conlon, and produced by Stannard and Rowe. The song charted at number one on the UK Singles Chart, and became Five's third and final number-one single. The song peaked at number two in the Irish Singles Chart. "Don't Call Me Baby" is a song by Australian house duo Madison Avenue. The song is the band's biggest hit, reaching number one in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. In the duo's home country, the song peaked at number two for six non-consecutive weeks. The song features a bassline sample from "Ma Quale Idea" by Italo disco artist Pino D'Angiò, which in turn is based on "Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now" by McFadden & Whitehead.
"Bump n' Grind" is a song by American R&B singer R. Kelly. It was released on January 25, 1994 as the second single from his debut solo studio album 12 Play (1993). The track became a number one single on the US Billboard Hot 100, and it also spent twelve weeks at number one on the US Hot R&B Songs chart as Kelly's third number-one R&B hit, becoming the longest-running number-one of 1994 in the US, and the longest-running R&B single at that time. The song also reached number eight on the UK Singles Chart, following the massive success of his previous single, "She's Got That Vibe".
"Acceptable in the 80s" is the debut single by British musician Calvin Harris from his debut studio album, I Created Disco (2007). It was released on 12 March 2007. The single peaked at number ten on the UK Singles Chart. The song samples David Bowie's 1983 song Shake It.

The song was written by Stefan Kendal Gordy, GoonRock, Erin Beck, George M. Robertson and Kenneth Oliver, and it was produced by Party Rock. It went to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 on January 7, 2012 and remained there for two weeks.

The song interpolates Lee Oskar's 1978 single "San Francisco Bay" and features harmonica player Paul Harrington, who plays through the entire song and was told to emulate Oskar.

"Addicted to You" is a song by Swedish DJ and record producer Avicii, incorporating vocals by American folk rock singer Audra Mae. "Bad" is a song by French music producer and DJ David Guetta and Dutch production duo Showtek, featuring vocals from Australian singer Vassy. It was released on 17 March 2014 as a single of the deluxe version from Guetta's studio album, Listen. It was written and produced by Guetta, Showtek, Sultan & Ned Shepard, and Manuel Reuter and it was co-written by Giorgio Tuinfort, Ossama Al Sarraf, Vassy, and Nick Turpin. The song entered and peaked on the UK Singles Chart at number 22. This track has since topped the chart in Finland and Norway. The song, which features vocals from Vassy, features her with an Auto-Tuned voice; reviews were critical of the effects applied to the vocals.
"Nobody to Love" is a song by British record production duo Sigma. The song was originally a bootleg remix of "Bound 2" by Kanye West featuring Charlie Wilson, released on 24 January 2014 as a free download. It later received support from major British radio stations including BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra, and so was reworked into an original track with Wilson's vocals covered by former One True Voice member Daniel Pearce. It was released as the second single from their debut studio album, Life (2015).

The song peaked at number 27 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 10 in the United Kingdom. This song is also known for being the final song to ever feature writing, singing and or production credits of recording artist Ken Rorery who died in a car accident in February of that same year just before the song's official release at the age of only 21. Brown performed a small live tribute at the 2014 Soul Train Awards in honor of Rorery.

It was produced by Guetta, Avicii, Riesterer, and Tuinfort, with additional production from Italian house production team Daddy's Groove. This track has since crowned the singles chart in Austria, Finland, Germany and the United Kingdom, and has reached top 40 on most of the countries where the track has been charted.
