Yuvan Shankar Raja is an Indian film score and soundtrack composer and singer-songwriter. He mainly scores music for Tamil films. Considered a versatile composer, he is particularly known for his use of Western music elements and often credited with having introduced hip hop to the Tamil film and music industry and started the "era of remixes" in Tamil Nadu. Yuvan has won two Filmfare Awards, five Mirchi Music Awards, four Vijay Awards and three Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. His notable works have led him the honorific nickname "Youth Icon".
Venkat Kumar Gangai Amaren, better known by his stage name Venkat Prabhu, is an Indian filmmaker, who has worked as an actor, director and playback singer in the Tamil film industry. After completing his education, he began pursuing an acting career, with his first three ventures featuring him in a starring role, failing to release, following which he began appearing in character roles. He entered the spotlight for the first time when he turned director with the summer hit Chennai 600028 (2007). He achieved further commercial successes with his subsequent directorials Saroja (2008), Goa (2010), Mankatha (2011), Biriyani (2013) and Mass Masilamani (2015). His father Gangai Amaren is a film director and music director.
Billa is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Vishnuvardhan. It is a reboot to 1980 Tamil film Billa which itself was a remake of the 1978 Hindi film Don. The film stars Ajith Kumar who plays a double role alongside Nayanthara and Namitha, while Prabhu Ganesan, Rahman, Adithya Menon, and Santhanam playing supporting roles. It is produced by L. Silambattam is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language Masala film written and directed by cinematographer-turned-director S. Saravanan, making his directorial debut. The film stars Silambarasan in dual roles while Sana Khan, Sneha and Prabhu play lead roles. Nedumudi Venu, Santhanam, Kishore, and Ponvannan play supporting roles with Premji Amaren in a special appearance. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the film's background score and soundtrack. The film released on 12 December 2008. It was later dubbed into Telugu and released as Maa Vaadu. Silambattam opened to mixed reviews but became a commercial superhit.
Prem Kumar Gangai Amaren, better known as Premji, is an Indian playback singer, composer, songwriter, actor and comedian. The son of composer and director Gangai Amaran, he often composes rap songs in Tamil cinema and is known for his comical performances in his elder brother Venkat Prabhu's films. His stage name, Premgi, is actually a spelling error, as it is meant to be "Prem G.",. He is also best known for his catchphrases Enna Koduma Sir Idhu ? and Evvalavo Pannitom, Idha Pannamaatoma ?, the former being a modified version of a famous dialogue used by Prabhu in Chandramukhi (2005).
Manadhai Thirudivittai is a 2001 Indian Tamil-language musical comedy film written and directed by newcomer R. D. Narayanamurthy. The film stars Prabhu Deva, Kausalya, and newcomer Gayatri Jayaraman, while Vadivelu, Vivek, Ranjith, and Sriman play supporting roles. The film, which has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja, released on 14 November 2001 and met with average results at the box office. It was produced by Dhayanidhi Alagiri's Cloud Nine Movies while Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the musical score and soundtrack, with Sakthi Saravanan working as the cinematographer and the duo Praveen K. L. and N. B. Srikanth as editors. The story, set in Mumbai, revolves around a heist of cricket betting money, executed by a gang of four thieves, who are joined by a fifth unknown man, and its aftermath.
Yuvan – Live in Concert is a concert by Indian musician Yuvan Shankar Raja. The concert, Yuvan's second in his career, took place on Pongal, 16 January 2011 at the YMCA Grounds, Nandanam, Chennai. Following the announcement, popular Tamil television STAR Vijay agreed to collaborate, sponsoring, organising and marketing the concert, while airing a special television series about Yuvan Shankar Raja, with family members and prominent celebrities closely associated to him participating, besides producing a promotional music video, titled "I'll be there for you". The five-hour show, which was attended by 20,000 people, including several noted film personalities, was received very positively and considered a highly successful event. The concert was aired on 11 and 12 February, Friday and Saturday at 2000 hrs on Vijay TV.

Kadavul Paathi Mirugam Paathi is a Tamil-language action-thriller film directed by Raaj Menon and Suresh. The film produced by Raj Zacharias, also features him in the lead role while Sethu, Abhishek Vinod and Swetha Vijay form the leading cast. Although originally planned with a different ensemble cast in 2011, the project finally materialised in mid 2013 and released on 20 March 2015 to negative reviews. The original score and soundtrack of the movie were composed by Rahul Raj. The film was dubbed and released in Telugu as Rahadaari in 2016.
