Science & Society: A Journal of Marxist Thought and Analysis is a peer-reviewed academic journal of Marxist scholarship. It covers economics, philosophy of science, historiography, women's studies, literature, the arts, and other social science disciplines from a Marxist point of view. As well as covering social and political theory, it includes first-order historical research.
Social Theory and Practice is a peer-reviewed academic journal that features discussion of theoretical and applied questions in social, political, legal, economic, educational, and moral philosophy, including critical studies of classical and contemporary social philosophers. Established in 1970, it publishes original philosophical work by authors from many disciplines, including the humanities, the social sciences, and the natural sciences. This journal has a Level 1 classification from the Publication Forum of the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies. and a SHERPA/RoMEO "green" self-archiving policy. It is published quarterly by the Florida State University Department of Philosophy, in cooperation with the Philosophy Documentation Center.
The American Catholic Philosophical Quarterly is a peer-reviewed academic journal sponsored by the American Catholic Philosophical Association. It was founded in 1927 as The New Scholasticism and adopted its current title in 1990. The journal publishes articles and book reviews covering the entire range and history of Western philosophical thought. Contributions on non-Western philosophy are also published, especially if they shed light upon issues in the Western tradition. The journal is not committed to any particular school of philosophy and contributions variously employ analytical, phenomenological, Thomistic, historical, and other methods. Nevertheless, it typically prefers contributions on topics or thinkers that are of special interest to Catholic thought. Thus, almost every issue usually carries at least one article on Thomas Aquinas. Pieces on medieval thought are well represented as well, as are essays in the philosophy of religion and philosophical theology.
Religion is a peer-reviewed academic journal in the field of Religious studies, edited by the religion academic scholars Michael Stausberg and Steven Engler. It was founded in 1971, with close ties to the Religious Studies program at the University of Lancaster. That program was founded and chaired by Ninian Smart, and he served as the chairman of the first editorial board. Four companies have published the journal over the years: Oriel Press (1971–72), Routledge & Kegan Paul (1973–80), Academic Press (1981–2000), Elsevier (2001–2010), and currently Routledge.
American Literature is a literary journal published by Duke University Press. It is sponsored by the American Literature Section of the Modern Language Association. The current editors are Priscilla Wald and Matthew A. Taylor. The first volume of this journal was published in March 1929.

Environmental Ethics is a peer-reviewed academic journal covering the study of philosophical aspects of environmental problems. It was established in 1979 by Eugene Hargrove and is published by the Center for Environmental Philosophy. Production of the journal, subscriptions, and online access are managed by the Philosophy Documentation Center.
The Proceedings of the American Catholic Philosophical Association is an annual series containing papers presented at the meetings of the American Catholic Philosophical Association. Each year the association sponsors a conference organized around a particular philosophical topic and all papers presented at the main sessions are published the following year in the Proceedings. Each volume is an edited anthology and the secretary of the association serves as editor-in-chief. All papers presented at the conference are subject to peer review, although the acceptance rate varies depending on the number of papers submitted. The series is published on behalf of the association by the Philosophy Documentation Center.
The Australian Journal of Politics and History is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes articles about history, political studies, and international affairs, concentrating on Australia, the Asia-Pacific region, and modern Europe. It was established in 1955 and was published triannually until 1997. In 1998 it began publishing quarterly. Until recently it was edited by Andrew Bonnell and Matt McDonald and is now edited by Geoff Ginn and Lisa Featherstone. It is published by Wiley-Blackwell on behalf of the School of Political Science & International Studies and the School of Historical & Philosophical Inquiry at the University of Queensland.
New Vico Studies was a peer-reviewed academic journal that examined current scholarship on the Italian philosopher Giambattista Vico. It was published annually in print and electronic formats by the Philosophy Documentation Center, in cooperation with the Institute for Vico Studies at Emory University. Established in 1983, it ceased publication of new issues in 2010 with the completion of Volume 27 (2009).

The Journal of the American Academy of Religion, formerly the Journal of Bible and Religion, is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Oxford University Press on behalf of the American Academy of Religion (AAR). The editor-in-chief is independent scholar Elisabeth Macknight. The co-editor is Brian Newsome of Georgia College & State University.
The Israel Studies Review is a peer-reviewed academic journal published on behalf of the Association for Israel Studies by Berghahn Books and covering the study of all aspects of society, history, politics, and culture of Israel. The journal was previously known as the Israel Studies Bulletin from 1992 to 2001 and as the Israel Studies Forum from 2001 to 2010. The editors of the journal since summer 2021 are Oded Haklai and Adia Mendelson-Maoz. Rami Zeedan is the journal's book review editor.
