Rex Samuel Sellers is a yachtman from New Zealand. He won a gold medal in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, and a silver medal in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, both in the Tornado class with Chris Timms. He also competed in the Tornado class with Brian Jones at the 1992 and 1996 Olympics, where they finished fourth and 15th respectively. Sellers and Gerald Sly were selected to sail in the Tornado class for New Zealand at the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow, but did not compete because of the US-led boycott.

William Raymond Seagrove was a British middle-distance runner. Seagrove was born in London and educated at Highgate School, leaving in April 1917. After serving in the army during World War I, he competed at the 1920 Summer Olympics. He won a silver medal in the 3000 metre team event and finished sixth in the 5000 metre. Four years later at the 1924 Summer Olympics he won a silver medal with the 3000 m British team again.

Alwin Schockemöhle is a former German show-jumper. He was a successful international show jumping equestrian in the 1960s and 1970s at individual and team events in Olympic Games and European Championships. He was one of four children, a girl and three boys. His younger brother Paul was also a successful show-jumper. Werner Schockemöhle, his youngest brother was a well-known horse breeder in Oldenburg.

Like his father, he ran for the LSU Tigers and won the NCAA championship in the 400 hurdles 30 years after his father repeated in the 440 yard dash. He was also the USA champion at 400 meters hurdles that year, duplicating a championship his father won three times. He finished second to Rex Cawley at the 1964 Olympic Trials as Cawley set the world record.
