Rhonda Heath is an American-German singer and actress, notable for being a member of the Silver Convention and La Mama. [2] Heath went on to launch a successful solo career in Germany and also starred in many German TV shows.
Rhonda Heath began playing the piano at the age of five. She later studied music education at Adrian College in Michigan. Heath also went on to take acting lessons.
During an appearance in a New York music club in the summer of 1976, she was discovered by Sylvester Levay and Michael Kunze, who were looking for someone to replace Linda G. Thompson in their successful disco group — Silver Convention. Heath was hired and traveled to Munich, West Germany later that summer to record the Madhouse album. The following year in 1977, Heath and the two other members of the group represented Germany with the song "Telegram" at the Eurovision Song Contest in London. She would go on to record two other albums with the group — Summernights and Love in a Sleeper — before they split in 1979. [3]
After the breakup in 1979, Heath released her first solo single with Kunze's Karma music label. In 1981, she won third place with her song "Forever and More" at the Seoul Song Festival in South Korea. [4] By 1983, she had released more singles and two albums. In 1985 she replaced Judy Cheeks in the trio, La Mama. The trio broke up later that same year. [5] Heath has also worked as a guest and studio singer for many other well-known artists, such as La Bionda and Boney M. Later, she took part again in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1985 with Gary Lux, and 1994 with Mekado as a backing singer.[ citation needed ]
Heath also pursued her acting career, as she starred in many ARD shows, such as Pfarrerin Lenau [6]
She married a German citizen in 1990 and continues to live in Munich today. [7]
Boney M. was a Euro-Caribbean vocal group created by German record producer Frank Farian, who was the group's primary songwriter. Originally based in West Germany, the four original members of the group's official line-up were Liz Mitchell and Marcia Barrett from Jamaica, Maizie Williams from Montserrat and Bobby Farrell from Aruba. The group was formed in 1976 and achieved popularity during the disco era of the late 1970s. Since the 1980s, various line-ups of the band have performed with different personnel.

Serebro was a Russian girl group formed by their manager and producer Maxim Fadeev. Serebro was formed in 2007, consisting of Marina Lizorkina, Olga Seryabkina, and Elena Temnikova as a submitted proposal for consideration by Channel One Russia for the Eurovision Song Contest 2007. Serebro was selected to represent Russia at the 2007 Contest with the song titled "Song #1". They subsequently placed third at the contest, scoring a total of 207 points. Serebro was then officially signed to Fadeev's record label Monolit Records, and in 2012, the group had additional releases produced by Sony Music Entertainment and Ego Music. In 2009, Lizorkina announced her departure from the group; she was subsequently replaced by Anastasia Karpova. Karpova left the group in 2013 and was replaced by Dasha Shashina, who left in 2016. Temnikova left the group in 2014 due to health reasons, and Polina Favorskaya, who replaced Temnikova, left the group in 2017. Favorskaya was later replaced by Morgunova. In 2019, the line-up Olga Seryabkina, Katya Kischuk, and Tatiana Morgunova, the last one to include the last original member, has been replaced by Elizaveta Kornilova, Marianna Kochurova and Irina Titova.
Eye Dance is the eighth and final studio album by the vocal group Boney M., released in 1985. The cover artwork was symbolic of the state the group was in at that time, as neither the famous "Boney M." logo nor the group members appeared on the cover, and were replaced by an anonymous drawing.
