Ribero is a municipality of Sucre, Venezuela. It has five parishes, and the municipal seat is in Cariaco. As of 2021, it has a population of 67,930. [1]
Victoria or giant waterlily is a genus of water-lilies, in the plant family Nymphaeaceae, with very large green leaves that lie flat on the water's surface. Victoria boliviana has a leaf that is up to 3 metres (9.8 ft) in width, on a stalk up to 8 metres (26 ft) in length. The genus name was given in honour of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom. It pushes other water plants aside as it spreads out until only those of its kind remains. When this happens it has nearly completely cut out the sunlight from getting to any plants below the water limited only by circle packing.

Cariaco is a town in the state of Sucre, Venezuela. It is the capital of the Ribero Municipality. It stands a short distance up the Cariaco river and its port immediately on the coast is known as Puerto Sucre. It is at the head of the Gulf of Cariaco holding the Cariaco Basin. Near the Church of San Felipe de Austria, is the Plaza El Congreso, named after the Venezuelan Congress. The Mercado Municipal is a market at the heart of the city, near the Parque Democracia and the local stadium.

The Government Railway Police, abbreviated as GRP, is the force responsible for policing railway stations and trains of Indian Railways. Its duties correspond to those of the District Police in the areas under their jurisdiction, such as patrolling, but only on railway property.
