Richard Paul Smith (born 30 August 1972) is an Irish cricket umpire. His ODI umpiring debut was on 5 July 2012, in a match between Ireland and Afghanistan. He has stood in six ODI games between 2012 and 2014 and in six Twenty20 Internationals in 2012. [1]

He stood in his first Twenty20 International (T20I) match, between Scotland and the Netherlands, on 16 September 2019.
