Stephen LaTreal McNair, nicknamed "Air McNair", was an American professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 seasons. He started his first two seasons with the Houston Oilers before the team relocated to Nashville, Tennessee. There, McNair would become the first franchise quarterback of the Tennessee Titans. He also played for two seasons with the Baltimore Ravens.
Winifred McNair was a tennis player from Great Britain. She is best remembered for her women's doubles gold medal at the 1920 Olympics in Antwerp, Belgium. Between 1906 and 1925 she competed in 15 editions of the Wimbledon Championships. Her best Wimbledon result came in 1913 when she reached the final of the all-comers' event and won the doubles title, partnering Dora Boothby.
Todd Darren McNair is an American football coach and former player who was most recently the running backs coach for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as the running backs coach at the University of Southern California from 2004 to 2010, until the NCAA issued a one-year show-cause penalty against him as part of sanctions related to the ineligibility of one of his former players, Reggie Bush. McNair had a long-running lawsuit pending against the NCAA for libel, slander, breach of contract and four other alleged offenses. The lawsuit finally was settled through mediation after ten years.

DeMont is often remembered for the controversy arising from his disqualification at the 1972 Summer Olympics because he tested positive for a prohibited substance present in his prescription asthma medication.
Donald Eric McNair was an American professional baseball shortstop in Major League Baseball from 1929 to 1942. He played for the Philadelphia Athletics, Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, and Chicago White Sox. McNair became an everyday player with Philadelphia in 1932, and he led the league in doubles that season. After his playing days, McNair had brief tenures as a minor-league manager and as a baseball scout. He died of heart problems at age 39.

He entered university at both Princeton and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He went on to compete in the men's 3000 metres steeplechase at the 1924 Summer Olympics.

Richard C. E. C. Dunn is a British rower. He won a gold medal at the 2001 World Rowing Championships in Lucerne with the men's coxless four. He represented Great Britain at the 2004 Summer Olympics in the coxless pair, where he came seventh with Toby Garbett.
Garrick Lenin Littlewood was a New Zealand judoka. He competed in the men's middleweight event at the 1972 Summer Olympics. Littlewood died in Auckland on 24 July 2018.
