Pussy Galore was an American garage rock band that formed in Washington, D.C. in 1985. They had a constantly fluid line-up until their demise in 1990. They took their name from the character in the James Bond film Goldfinger, and their sound was inspired by The Rolling Stones and Einstürzende Neubauten.
Secrets of the I Ching is the first album by 10,000 Maniacs, released in 1983 by Christian Burial Music, the band's own label. The album was recorded at SUNY Fredonia, with only 500 copies made. It is the first of their recordings with drummer Jerome Augustyniak. Rerecorded versions of the songs "Tension", "Grey Victory", "Daktari" and "My Mother the War" appear on their 1985 album The Wishing Chair. The song "Tension" is itself a re-recording of a song that initially appeared on the band's EP.
Smell the Magic is the second studio album by American rock band L7, released in 1990 by Sub Pop. Originally issued as a 12" EP containing only the first six songs, it was reissued on CD in July 1991, expanded to album length with three more tracks: "Packin' a Rod," "Just Like Me," and "American Society." The opening track "Shove" was released as the band's first single.
Soul-Crusher is the debut studio album of White Zombie, released independently in November 1987 by Silent Explosion. It was the band's second and final release with Tom "Five" Guay on guitar. Building off the sound established on Psycho-Head Blowout, the band matured its sound while placing further emphasis on the individual roles of its players. The album caught the attention of major labels and in 1988 was adopted and re-issued by Caroline Records.
Gone Fishin' is the second studio album by San Francisco-based punk rock band Flipper, released in 1984 by Subterranean Records. The album's artwork featured a depiction of Flipper's tour van as a ready-to-cut-out-and-assemble centerpiece, with similar cutouts of the four band members on the back cover. At the time of the album's release, Subterranean offered extra empty covers of the album by mail order for $2 for those Flipper fans that wanted to have a cover to cut up and assemble. The album was reissued by Water Records on December 9, 2008, for the first time on CD, with liner notes provided by Buzz Osborne of the Melvins.
Dial 'M' for Motherfucker is an album by the New York City garage punk band Pussy Galore, released in April 1989 by Caroline Records. The song Kicked Out is played in an Episode of House, "Games", when Gregory House plays it to annoy Wilson and later to induce a seizure in a patient.
Lust is the third album by Ambitious Lovers. It was released in 1991 through Elektra Records. It was the band's final album.
Vampire Can Mating Oven is an EP by the alternative rock band Camper Van Beethoven, released in 1987. The EP includes satirical liner notes relating false stories behind the songs. A re-recorded version of "Never Go Back" was included the following year on the band's major label debut, Our Beloved Revolutionary Sweetheart.
Sex Bomb Baby is a compilation album by Flipper. It contains singles, B-sides, and compilation tracks from 1979 to 1982.

A Reverse Willie Horton is either the debut album, or an early bootleg album, by the New York City-based Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. Few copies of the album were produced; many songs appear on the group's next album, 1992's The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, albeit in a different mix or recording altogether. All three albums are made up of tracks recorded in 1991 by producer Kramer and engineer Steve Albini.
Music to Strip By is an album by the Maryland rock group Half Japanese. It was the first album released on their label, 50 Skidillion Watts.
