Rita Widyasari (born 7 November 1973) is an Indonesian politician who formerly served as 10th Regent of Kutai Kartanegara Regency from 2010 until 2021 and became the first woman to held the position.
Widyasari was born on 7 November 1973 in Tenggarong,East Kalimantan,as the second child and daughter of the three children of Dayang Kartini,a seamstress,and Syaukani Hasan Rais (1948–2016),a politician who served as 9th Regent of Kutai Kartanegara Regency. [1] [2] She has a sister,Silvy Agustin,and a brother,Windra Sudarta (died 2012). [1] Widyasari spents her childhood in Tenggarong. [2] After graduated from high school,she moved to Bandung and went to Taruna Bhakti Secretary and Management Academy. [2] Widyasari then continued her education at Padjadjaran University and earned her master's degree from Jenderal Soedirman University. [2]
Widyasari is married to Endri Elfran Syafril and has had three children. [2]
Widyasari started her career as a Chair of Institute of Economic Science in Kutai Kartanegara Regency and served as Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives in the same regency. [2] She also served as a commissioner at PT. Ketopong Damai Persada and was active in several organizations,such as became the Chair of DPD KNPI in Kutai Kartanegara Regency,Chair of KORDA INKALDO in East Kalimantan,and Chair of National Sports Committee of Indonesia in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. [2]
In 2010,Widyasari was elected as 10th Regent of Kutai Kartanegara Regency along with Gufron Yusuf as her deputy and served from 2010 until 2015. [2] She then was re-elected along with Edi Damansah as her Deputy and served from 2016 until 2021. [2]

Awang Faroek Ishak is an Indonesian politician who was the Governor of East Kalimantan,Indonesia. Awang Faroek assumed office in December 2008.
