Riteish Deshmukh (born 17 December 1978) is an Indian actor, television presenter, producer, screenwriter and filmmaker who works in Hindi and Marathi cinema. He is the son of politician Vilasrao Deshmukh.

Deshmukh began his acting career with the film Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003) and since then he has worked in several successful films such as Masti (2004), Kyaa Kool Hai Hum (2005), Bluffmaster! (2005), Malamaal Weekly (2006), Heyy Babyy (2007), Dhamaal (2007), Housefull (2010), Double Dhamaal (2011), Housefull 2 (2012), Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum (2012), Grand Masti (2013), Housefull 3 (2016), Total Dhamaal (2019), Housefull 4 (2019) and Baaghi 3 (2020). He received widespread critical acclaim for playing a serial killer in the romantic thriller Ek Villain (2014).

In Marathi cinema, he debuted as a producer with Balak-Palak (2013), made his Marathi acting debut with action film Lai Bhaari (2014) and made his directorial debut with Ved (2022).

Deshmukh is the board member of Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image. [1]

The film is the third installment of the Housefull series. It stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Lisa Haydon, Chunky Panday and Jackie Shroff. The film was released on 3 June 2016 and became commercially successful grossing 195 crore worldwide.

Kyaa Kool Hain Hum is a series of Indian Hindi-language adult comedy film produced by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under their banner Balaji Motion Pictures. The first film Kyaa Kool Hai Hum is directed by Sangeeth Sivan was released in 2005. The second film Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum is written and directed by Sachin Yardi was released in 2012. The third film Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 is directed by Umesh Ghadge was released in 2016. The first two films were well received by the audience but the third one was not up to the mark and became a box office bomb.

Housefull 4 is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language fantasy action comedy film directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Fox Star Studios. The film is the fourth installment of the Housefull Franchise, and stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon, Pooja Hegde and Kriti Kharbanda in the lead roles. The plot deals with reincarnation. Three brothers are set to marry three sisters. However, a peek into the distant past reveals to one of the brothers that their brides have been mixed up in their current reincarnation.
