Reception

A critic at Sonic Boom praised the Rivet Head Culture compilation, saying "it amazes me that bands like A-Politiq, Death Method and M.A.S. still remain hidden from record labels" and "Chase has done the entire industrial music industry a huge favor by digging through the mountains of demo tapes he receives for some of the best unsigned talent in the industry." [3]

Re-Constriction Records

Re-Constriction Records was a division of Cargo Music based in California. The label was founded in 1991 and headed by Chase, who was previously the Music Director at KCR, a student radio station on the campus of San Diego State University. They specialized in releasing bands belonging to the industrial, grindcore, electroclash, aggrotech and EBM genres.

Diatribe was an industrial rock group from San Jose, California which was active in the 1990s. They had a sound similar to 16 Volt and Chemlab, integrating synthesizers and vocal samples with more traditional rock instruments. The band's full-length debut Diatribe was released by Cargo Music and Re-Constriction Records on November 3, 1996.

Pain Emission were an American electro-industrial group based in San Diego, California, United States. The original incarnation consisted of vocalist Shonn Bratlien and keyboardist Thomas Smith, who were assisted by lyricist Johan Sherriffs and live percussionist Barry Dost in the studio. They released two albums on COP International, Fidget in 1993 and The War Within the following year. The band ceased activities shortly after they released the EP Nudge in 1994.

GPC Productions was an independent record label based in Allentown, Pennsylvania started in 1989 by Alex Kananowicz. Kananowicz used the label to distribute his side projects to Sinister Attraction, namely: Sin Factor, ...less than 24 hours.../Journey Into the Fields of Pain and Original Sin/Machine Religion. It also served as an outlet for musical acts such as Blink Twice, Kevorkian Death Cycle and The MAS.

<i>Original Sin/Machine Religion</i> 1991 studio album by Factor 42/Teknition

Original Sin/Machine Religion is a split album by Factor 42 and Teknition, released in May 1991 by GPC Productions. The original cassettes came packaged in black plastic wrapped by wire mesh and included a ten-page booklet of information about the music. After the cassette was produced, Alex Kane began writing letters and sending tapes to art contacts worldwide. The song "Man Is the Animal" by Teknition was released on the anti-ivory themed 1992 various artists compilation The Cyberflesh Conspiracy by If It Moves....

The MAS was the music project founded of Bethlehem-based composer Henry Kohler. He debuted with split studio album Baby Had an Accident with Blink Twice in 1993.
