At the 2020 Pan American Wrestling Championships held in Ottawa, Canada, he won the gold medal in the 97 kg event. He is also a silver medalist at the 2019 Pan American Games held in Lima, Peru. He represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
