Danny Julian Boggs is an American lawyer and a senior United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He was appointed to the court in 1986 and served as its chief judge from September 2003 to August 2009. Boggs was on the short list of President George W. Bush's candidates for the U.S. Supreme Court.

Robert Trimble was a lawyer and jurist who served as Justice of the Kentucky Court of Appeals,as United States district judge of the United States District Court for the District of Kentucky and as Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States from 1826 to his death in 1828. During his brief Supreme Court tenure he authored several majority opinions,including the decision in Ogden v. Saunders,which was the only majority opinion that Chief Justice John Marshall ever dissented from during his 34 years on the Court.

Matthew John Kane IV is an American attorney serving as the chief justice of the Oklahoma Supreme Court. Kane was appointed the state's highest court by Governor Kevin Stitt in 2019. He was elected to a two year term as chief justice,commencing January 1,2023. He had previously served as the vice chief justice from 2021 to 2022. He concurrently has served as a justice of the court since 2019.

Chris Harris is an American politician from Kentucky who was a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives from 2015 to 2021. Before his time in the house he was a Pike County magistrate. Harris was first elected to the house in 2014 after defeating incumbent representative Keith Hall in the May primary election. In 2020 he unsuccessfully ran for the Kentucky Supreme Court,losing to Robert B. Conley. He was succeeded by Republican Norma Kirk-McCormick in the house.
