Robert Kron (born February 27, 1967) is a Czech former professional ice hockey centre and currently the director of amateur scouting for the Seattle Kraken. [1] He was formerly director of European scouting for the Carolina Hurricanes. [2]
Kron was drafted in the fifth round, 88th overall, by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft. He made his National Hockey League debut with the Canucks in the 1990–91 season. In his NHL career, he would play for the Canucks, the Hartford Whalers/Carolina Hurricanes, and the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Kron appeared in 771 NHL games, scoring 144 goals and adding 194 assists. He also appeared in 16 Stanley Cup playoff games, scoring two goals and recording three assists.
After his hockey career ended, Kron was hired by the Carolina Hurricanes as an amateur scout. [2] Former Carolina Hurricanes teammate and current Seattle Kraken GM Ron Francis hired him as the team's director of amateur scouting in October 2020.

Ronald Michael Francis Jr. is a Canadian former professional ice hockey centre. He is the general manager of the Seattle Kraken that inaugurated its first season in 2021. Drafted fourth overall in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft, Francis played 23 seasons in the NHL for the Hartford Whalers, Pittsburgh Penguins, Carolina Hurricanes, and Toronto Maple Leafs. Upon retiring from professional ice hockey in 2004, Francis stood second all-time in career assists (1,249), behind only Wayne Gretzky; fifth in career points (1,798); third in games played (1,731); and 27th in career goals (549).
Scott Walker is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who currently serves as the co-owner and team president of the Guelph Storm in the OHL. He previously held the position of player development consultant for the Vancouver Canucks.
Tuomo Iisakki Ruutu is a Finnish former professional ice hockey forward and current assistant coach with the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League. Druken spent most of his professional career in the minor leagues with the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliates of the Canucks, Maple Leafs and Hurricanes.
David Stuart Morrison is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who spent parts of four seasons in the National Hockey League with the Los Angeles Kings and Vancouver Canucks between 1980 and 1985 before embarking on a long playing career in various European leagues.
