Robert Ksiezak (born 15 January 1987 in Adelaide, South Australia) [1] is an Australian former motorcycle speedway rider. [2]
Ksiezak started his British career with the Edinburgh Monarchs in 2005. [3] He lost his team place halfway through the 2006 season and was quickly signed by Edinburgh's rivals the Glasgow Tigers. He chose to stay with Glasgow in 2007, leading to the club purchasing his contract from Edinburgh. He agreed terms to be the Belle Vue Aces number 8 for the 2008 season. [4]
Ksiezak has Polish and Australian citizenship. On 6 May 2008 he gained a Polish speedway licence (Licencja "Ż") at Toruń. [5] Since then he has taken part in the Polish Championships as a Polish domestic rider (as Robert Księżak). [6]
Ksiezak finished second in the Gillman Division 1 Solo Championship at his home track in Adelaide, the Gillman Speedway in 2009 and 2012. He was also the winner of the Jack Young Solo Cup at Gillman in 2006. The Jack Young Cup is named in honour of Adelaide's 1951 and 1952 Speedway World Champion who died in 1987. Ksiezak joined the likes of Jimmy Nilsen, Leigh Adams and Tomasz Gollob as a winner of the Cup.
In 2012, he rode for Plymouth Devils but broke his ankle in a crash during the August of that season. [7]

Jack Ellis Young was an Australian motorcycle speedway rider who won the Speedway World Championship in 1951 and 1952. He also won the London Riders' Championship 1953 and 1954 and was a nine time South Australian Champion between 1948 and 1964.
Emil Damirovich Sayfutdinov is a motorcycle speedway rider from Russia. He is a member of the Russia national speedway team. He is a three times World team champion, twice World Junior champion and a two-time winner of the European Championships in 2014 and 2015.

The 2008 Speedway Grand Prix of Germany was the eleventh and closing race of the 2008 Speedway Grand Prix season. It was scheduled to take place on 11 October 2008, in the Veltins-Arena in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. However, the meeting was cancelled because the track (temporary) was deemed unsafe by the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) jury due to adverse weather conditions. The event was re-staged at the Polonia Stadium, Bydgoszcz, Poland, on the 18 October and was renamed the 2008 FIM Final Speedway Grand Prix. The Grand Prix was won by Polish rider Tomasz Gollob, who also won the 2008 Super Prix.
The 2009 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship was the 33rd edition of the FIM World motorcycle speedway Under-21 Championships.
The 2009 Team Speedway Junior World Championship was the fifth annual FIM Team Under-21 World Championship competition since its introduction in 2005. The final took place on September 5, 2009, in Gorzów Wielkopolski, Poland. It was the second final held in Poland, but the first in Gorzów; in 2006, the final took place in Rybnik, where Poland beat Sweden, Denmark and Germany.

The 2009 Individual Speedway Polish Championship was the 2009 version of Individual Speedway Polish Championship organized by the Polish Motor Union (PZM). The defending Champion esd Adam Skórnicki, who finished sixth. The Final took place on 25 July 2009 at MotoArena Toruń in Toruń. The Final was won by Tomasz Gollob, who beat Krzysztof Kasprzak and Janusz Kołodziej. It was eight title for Gollob.
The 2009 Individual Speedway Australian Championship was the 2009 version of the Individual Speedway Australian Championship organised by Motorcycling Australia. The three final rounds took place between 3 January and 10 January. The championship was won by Leigh Adams, who beat the defending champion Chris Holder into second place. Rory Schlein finished third.

The 2010 Individual Speedway Polish Championship was the 2010 version of Individual Speedway Polish Championship organized by the Polish Motor Union (PZM). The Championship was won by Janusz Kołodziej, who beat Krzysztof Kasprzak in the Run-off. Third was Rafał Dobrucki. Kołodziej, who won 2009, 2010 Golden Helmet and 2010 Speedway World Cup was award nomination to the 2011 Speedway Grand Prix. The defending Champion, Tomasz Gollob, who was a 2010 Speedway Grand Prix leader, resigned from the IMP Final.
