Wilma Glodean Rudolph was an American sprinter born in Saint Bethlehem, Tennessee, who became a world-record-holding Olympic champion and international sports icon in track and field following her successes in the 1956 and 1960 Olympic Games. Rudolph competed in the 200-meter dash and won a bronze medal in the 4 × 100-meter relay at the 1956 Summer Olympics at Melbourne, Australia. She also won three gold medals, in the 100- and 200-meter individual events and the 4 x 100-meter relay at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome, Italy. Rudolph was acclaimed the fastest woman in the world in the 1960s and became the first American woman to win three gold medals in a single Olympic Games.
Karin Kiefer Smith is a retired female javelin thrower from the United States. She was born in Germany. She is a three-time Olympian. Smith qualified for a fourth, the 1980 U.S. Olympic team, but was unable to compete due to the 1980 Summer Olympics boycott. She did however receive one of 461 Congressional Gold Medals created especially for the spurned athletes.

Robert Smith is a British equestrian. He was born in [Yorkshire],lives in Shrewley, Warwickshire, a son of Harvey Smith, and brother of Steven Smith. He competed in show jumping at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, and placed fourth in the individual contest.
Frithjof Kleen is a German sailor, who specialized in two-person keelboat (Star) class. He represented Germany, along with his partner Robert Stanjek in the Star class at the 2012 Summer Olympics, and also captured a silver medal at the 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships in Perth, Australia. Kleen has also been training throughout most of his sporting career for the North German Sailing Regatta in Hamburg under his personal coach Alan Smith.
