Robert Yundt is an American politician who is the member-elect to represent District N in the Alaska Senate. He previously served on the Mat-Su Borough Assembly representing the 4th district from 2020 to 2024.
Robert Yundt was born in Wasilla,Alaska,where he has lived his entire life. After graduating from Wasilla High School,he ran two real estate businesses. [1] In 2020,Yundt was elected to the Mat-Su Borough Assembly representing the 4th district. He was reelected in 2023 and resigned on September 5,2024,after moving out of the district. [2] Maxwell Sumner was appointed to succeed Yundt. [3]
Yundt ran for the Alaska Senate's District N in 2024 and placed second in the primary behind incumbent David S. Wilson. [2] He defeated Wilson in the November general election with over 53% of the vote. [4]
