Rock Fest is a permanent music festival held annually in July on the Chippewa Valley Music Festival grounds in Cadott, WI.

Rock Fest is the last independently run rock festival in the U.S. - where passion outplays corporations.

The venue includes more than 7,500 campsites for campers. The amphitheater concert grounds host four days of rock concerts by national music acts each year. On site there are convenience stores, merch stores, concessions, and side stages that feature regional acts between main stage performances.

Attendance

The annual attendance of Rock Fest is between 28,000 and 40,000 people daily, [2] although crowds can reach numbers as high as 80,000 people.

2020 Rock Fest organizers postponed due to COVID-19. Scheduled for July 16-18.

Rock Fest Organizers said in a statement "In working with local health officials, we were told that having a festival of our size in July is at too high of a risk due to COVID-19. This is an unprecedented situation that we have to take seriously. The health and safety of our fans and rock music community is and always will be our #1 concern!"

Fans were offered refunds or the opportunity to roll their tickets over to the following year.

BayFest was an annual three-day music festival held in the heart of downtown Mobile, Alabama. VOA – Heavy Rock Festival is an open-air heavy metal/hard rock festival held annually in Lisbon, Portugal. The Uproar Festival, also called the Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Festival, was an annual hard rock and heavy metal tour inaugurated in 2010 by John Reese and sponsored by Rockstar Energy Drink. The tour was also created by John Oakes, Darryl Eaton and Ryan Harlacher from the Creative Artists Agency, and Perry Lavoisne from Live Nation. Reese is also responsible for creating Mayhem Festival and the Taste of Chaos tour. Uproar Festival is the replacement for Reese's Taste of Chaos tour, as he was "running out of bands that fit within the profile of what Taste of Chaos was."

Lazerfest was a music festival, created by the Lazer 103.3 radio station in Des Moines, Iowa. The festival featured rock artists such as Five Finger Death Punch, Halestorm, Falling In Reverse, Young Guns, Devour The Day, and We Are Harlot. The 2015 festival was held Friday, May 8 and Sunday, May 10, 2015, at the 7 Flags Event Center in Clive, Iowa. The festival was discontinued after that.

Hevy Music Festival was a rock festival established by Claire Baker and James that took place annually near Folkestone, Kent, in the UK. It was originally held on 1 August 2009 on Folkestone seafront as a one-day festival with Feeder, Gary Numan and Ash as headliners. In 2010 it moved to Port Lympne Wild Animal Park and grew to a weekend camping festival held from 6–8 August. The headline artists included Glassjaw, Gallows, Sepultura and the Subways, and the festival provided a variety of rock music genres including punk rock, alternative rock, hardcore punk and heavy metal along with extreme sports displays and state-of-the-art thrill rides.
