Rocky River is a city in western Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. A suburb of Cleveland, it is located along the shore of Lake Erie approximately 9 miles (14 km) west of downtown Cleveland. The city is named for the Rocky River that forms its eastern border. The population was 21,755 according to the 2020 census data results.

The expression springs from his first hit single in 1937, "Swing and Sway". His signature tune was "Harbor Lights", a number-one hit from late 1950's.

McCormick had a distinctive appearance being 6'7" tall, weighing 250 lbs and having a walrus mustache.

It was founded in 1949 and is operated in the Holy Cross tradition by the Midwest Province of the Brothers of Holy Cross. Eighteen member schools — each located within the Northeast District of the OHSAA — competed in three six-member divisions: Valley, River and Lake. Dan Gerome served as the last NOC commissioner. Anthony J. Paletta designed the conference logo in 2006.

River Valley High School is a public high school near Bidwell, in the U.S. state of Ohio. It is one of two high schools in the Gallia County Local School District, the other school being South Gallia High School. Their nickname is the Raiders. The school has been rated "Excellent" two years in a row on the state report card making it one of the highest ranked schools within several counties. In August 2009 the current RVHS facility was officially opened, taking the place of the previous RVHS located in nearby Cheshire. The new location places River Valley High School just a short distance from its main feeder school, River Valley Middle School. The 2009–10 school year was the first to take place in the new building, with the Class of 2010 being the first class to graduate, and the Class of 2013 being the first to complete all four years of their secondary education at the new building.
Fairborn High School is a public high school for grades 9-12 in Fairborn, Ohio. It currently is the only high school in the Fairborn City Schools district. The mascot is the Skyhawk. The school has approximately 1,500 students, varying by school year. Many students from Wright Patterson AFB attend the school, which has caused the attendance to fluctuate. As of 2019-20, Fairborn is a member of the Miami Valley League (MVL)
