Roger Chandler is a former wrestler and current head coach of the Michigan State Spartans wrestling team.
Chandler was an OHSAA state champion in 1992 for St. Edward High School in Lakewood, Ohio, while wrestling for Greg Urbas. [1] He was also runner-up at the NHSCA Senior Nationals. [2]
Chandler was a Big Ten Conference champion for the Indiana Hoosiers. [3] He was also an NCAA runner-up and three-time All-American. [4] He was inducted into the Indiana Hoosiers Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008. [5]
Chandler is currently the head wrestling coach at Michigan State. Prior to becoming head coach, he was an assistant at Michigan State. [6]
Hoosier Hysteria is the state of excitement surrounding basketball in Indiana or, more specifically, the Indiana high school basketball tournament. In part, the enthusiasm stemmed from the one-class tournament, in which a small town's David might knock off a large city's Goliath. The most famous example occurred in 1954, when Milan defeated Muncie Central to win the state title. The movie Hoosiers was inspired in part by the story of the 1954 Milan team and typifies the hysteria related to basketball in Indiana.
The Purdue Boilermakers are the official intercollegiate athletics teams representing Purdue University, located in West Lafayette, Indiana. Dustin Schlatter is an American former folkstyle wrestler. He won the 2006 NCAA wrestling title and was a three-time NCAA All-American at 149 pounds for the University of Minnesota. As a high school wrestler, Schlatter was a NHSCA Senior national title, USA Wrestling Junior and Cadet national titles in freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, and was a four-time Ohio high school state champion.

Dane Fife is an American former college basketball player and assistant coach. Fife is the former head coach of the Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) Mastodons men's basketball team and a was former college assistant coach at Michigan State University under Tom Izzo for ten years before leaving to become an assistant coach at his alma mater, Indiana University. He was let go by Indiana after one season.

Doug Mallory is an American football coach and former player. Currently Mallory serves as a defensive football analyst for the Michigan Wolverines. He has been a college football coach since 1988. He was the assistant head coach and co-defensive coordinator at Indiana University from 2011-2013. He has previously held defensive coordinator positions at Western Kentucky University, Louisiana State University and the University of New Mexico. Mallory also played college football as a defensive back at Michigan from 1984 to 1987.
