Roger Anthony Fairfax Jr. is an American legal scholar.
Roger Fairfax Jr. is the eldest son of Roger Sr. and Charlene Fairfax. [1] Fairfax Jr.'s youngest brother,Justin Fairfax, [2] served as lieutenant governor of Virginia from 2018 to 2022. The Fairfax family can trace its ancestry to Simon Fairfax,a slave freed by Thomas Fairfax,9th Lord Fairfax of Cameron. [3]

Robert Cortez Scott is an American lawyer and politician serving as the U.S. representative for Virginia's 3rd congressional district since 1993. A member of the Democratic Party,he is the dean of Virginia's congressional delegation and the first Filipino American voting member of Congress. The district serves most of the majority-black precincts of Hampton Roads,including all of the independent cities of Norfolk,Newport News and Portsmouth,and parts of the independent city of Chesapeake. This is the last time that a Democrat won the lieutenant governorship in Virginia.

In 2019,he faced sexual assault allegations dating to 2000 and 2004,which he denied. In 2021,he was a Democratic candidate for Governor of Virginia. He finished fourth in the Democratic primary with 3.54% of the vote.
