Telugu cinema, also known as Tollywood, is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in the Telugu language, widely spoken in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Telugu cinema is based in Film Nagar, Hyderabad. As of 2021, Telugu cinema is the largest film industry in India in terms of box-office. Telugu films sold 23.3 crore tickets in 2022, the highest among various film industries in India.
Gorati Venkataiah, better known as Goreti Venkanna, is an Indian poet and singer known for his works in Telugu literature. He became popular after his song "Palle Kanneru Peduthundo" in the film Kubusam. He also acted as a judge for the folk song program Rela Re Rela on Star Maa. In November 2020, Goreti was nominated as a Member of Legislative Council (MLC) in Telangana. In 2021, he won the Sahitya Akademi Award in poetry category for his work Vallanki Taalam.
Angel is a 2017 Telugu language fantasy comedy film written and directed by Palani and produced by Bhuvan Sagar. The film stars Naga Anvesh and Hebah Patel in lead roles with Suman, Saptagiri, Sayaji Shinde, Kabir Duhan Singh, and Pradeep Rawat in supporting roles. The film's music was composed by Bheems Ceciroleo with cinematography by Gunasekaran. The film was released on 3 November 2017 and was dubbed and released in Tamil as Vinnaithaandi Vandha Angel. Later the film was dubbed in Hindi as Angel in 2018.

The film was released on 29 June 2018 and received mixed reviews from critics, but it became a commercial success.
Nirudyoga Natulu is a 2018 Indian Telugu-language web series created by Rohit Penumatsa and Camp Sasi. This series revolves around a couple of unemployed actors, Laxman, Anvesh Michael, Pawon Ramesh and Jagadeesh, who struggle with their lives as they strive to act in movies. The series consists of 10 episodes which were released on the YouTube channel Mic Tv.
