Kaveree Bamzai is an Indian journalist, author and film critic. She is the only woman to have been the editor of India Today magazine, where she worked for 30 years. She worked for The Times of India and The Indian Express before. She has been Editor-at-large for India Today since 2014. Her book, No Regrets, received positive reviews. So did The Three Khan, written about the three Khans of Bollywood.
Pramod Kapoor is an Indian writer and publisher, who in 1978 founded Roli Books, a publishing company that prints books pertaining to Indian heritage. In 2016, for his contributions to publishing, he was awarded the Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur.
The Great Trial of 1922 took place in March 1922 following the arrest of Mohandas K. Gandhi for sedition. He appeared in the Ahmedabad court, charged under section 124A of the Indian Penal Code, without counsel. He pleaded guilty to all charges and requested that he be given the maximum penalty.
New Delhi: Making of a Capital is an illustrated book about the construction of the Indian capital New Delhi, written by Malvika Singh and Rudrangshu Mukherjee, edited by Pramod Kapoor and published by Roli Books in 2009. The book contains several previously unpublished images and newspaper cuttings, which show the wide coverage given in England on the extent of the project on building New Delhi.
Niyogi Books is an independent publishing house based in New Delhi, India, that focuses on illustrated non-fiction books across art, architecture, travel, history, food, and culture. It was founded in 2004 by Bikash De Niyogi, and started off publishing coffee table books, but soon after expanded its remit to include general trade non-fiction and, more recently, fiction books. Niyogi also published the English translation of Mai, a novel by Booker-winner Geetanjali Shree, in 2017. In 2019, it launched 'Bahuvachan', an imprint dedicated to Hindi-language titles. The noted art historian B.N. Goswamy has extensively published with Niyogi. In May 2022, Niyogi announced its entry into publishing children's books.
