Obsession is the seventh studio album by English rock band UFO, released in 1978. This was the final studio album to feature Michael Schenker on lead guitar until he returned to the band in 1993. A single from the album, "Only You Can Rock Me" / "Cherry", was also released in 1978. So too was the band's first 3-track EP "Only You Can Rock Me", "Cherry" / "Rock Bottom", reaching No. 50 in the UK. The album was recorded at an abandoned post office in Los Angeles.
The Ultimate Sin is the fourth studio album by English heavy metal vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. It was released on 24 January 1986, and was remastered and re-issued on compact disc on 22 August 1995. It is the second and last of Osbourne's albums to feature lead guitarist Jake E. Lee, and the first to feature drummer Randy Castillo and bassist Phil Soussan, who co-wrote the album's hit single "Shot in the Dark".
Michael Schenker is a German guitarist. He played in the rock band UFO and leads the Michael Schenker Group. He was an early member of the hard rock band Scorpions, a band co-founded by his elder brother Rudolf Schenker. In the mid-1970s, Schenker joined UFO, playing lead and rhythm guitar. He left the band in 1978 to found the Michael Schenker Group. He has rejoined UFO three times, producing an album each time. Schenker continues to perform and record. He has been called "a legendary figure in the history of metal guitar."

Walk on Water is the fourteenth album from the British hard rock band UFO, marking the return of German guitarist Michael Schenker to the band, as well as the returns of keyboardist Paul Raymond and founding drummer Andy Parker. The album did not chart. It was recorded at Rumbo Recorders in Canoga Park, California. It was released first and only in Japan on 14 April 1995 with 11 tracks and in 1997 in other countries with only 10 tracks. It has since been re-released on numerous occasions, with a variety of covers.
MSG is the second album by the hard rock band Michael Schenker Group, released in 1981. Producer Ron Nevison's high production values resulted in the recording of this album going over budget, a crippling debt that dogged the band for the rest of their short career. MSG saw Schenker reunited with his former UFO bandmate Paul Raymond, and was the last album to feature Gary Barden until 1983's Built to Destroy.

Peter Frederick Way was an English bassist. He was the original bassist and co-founder of the rock band UFO from 1968 to 1982; Way briefly rejoined the band in 1988–1989, and full-time from 1991 to 2008. He was also the bassist and co-founder of Waysted and Fastway and notably performed with Michael Schenker Group and Ozzy Osbourne.
Freedom at Point Zero is the fifth album by Jefferson Starship and was released in 1979. It was the first album for new lead singer Mickey Thomas, and the first after both Grace Slick and Marty Balin left the previous year. Aynsley Dunbar plays drums on this album; he had left Journey the previous year. The album cover was shot on location in the San Francisco Bay on board the USCGC Midgett.
Greatest Hits is a compilation album released in 1991 when Starship ended its recording contract with RCA Records. The album contains two new tracks, "Don't Lose Any Sleep" and "Good Heart". "Good Heart" was released as a single and hit number 81 on the Billboard charts. A third track, "Keys to the City" was recorded at this time and finally saw release on the 2012 compilation Playlist: The Very Best of Starship. "We Built This City" was remixed for this compilation by Bill Bottrel who took out the spoken-word interlude by Les Garland.

This album, made up of songs that influenced the career of Michael Schenker, includes guest performances from members of various bands, including Whitesnake, Blue Öyster Cult, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Iron Maiden. It's a re-release of the Heavy Hitters album from 2005, with one extra song.
