Career

She played the lead actress in the movie Daatu. She directed and wrote the movie Mukhaputa . [1] [2] In 2013, she directed & produced her bilingual big budget film Chandra in Kannada and Tamil. [3]

Hombisilu is a 1978 Indian Kannada-language romantic drama film directed by Geethapriya. It is based on the novel of the same name by Usha Navarathnaram. The film starred Vishnuvardhan, Aarathi and Leelavathi. Vishnuvardhan was awarded with Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in this film. The film was a musical blockbuster with all the songs composed by Rajan–Nagendra considered evergreen hits.

Magic Ajji is a 2005 Indian Kannada language fantasy film directed by Dinesh Baboo. It was the first digital film shot in high-definition in Kannada, and the second to be released. The first being Baboo's 2004 Kanakambari. Magic Ajji stars Khushbu Sundar as Queen Rajeshwari Devi, the grandmother and ghost, Master Tejas as grandson Arjun, and Sudha Rani as Arjun's mother Nirmala Devi. Other characters are played by Ramesh Bhat, Mandya Ramesh, Chi. Guru Dutt, Chitra Shenoy, Shivaram, Pruthviraj and Karibasavaiah. Ganesh plays a cameo. Krishna Iyer is a Tamil cinema Indian playback singer from Chennai, India who performs Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu songs. Chandra is a 2013 Indian romantic drama film, simultaneously made in Kannada and Tamil languages. Directed by Roopa Iyer, it stars Shriya Saran and Prem Kumar. The film deals with the life of a last generation princess and her love story. The film was released on 27 June 2013 to positive reviews and emerged as a high success at the Kannada Box office. The Tamil version of the film was released on 14 February 2014.

Five by Four is a 2003 Indian English film written and directed by Roopa Swaninathan. It stars VJs Cary Edwards, Sapna and Usha Seetharam, Eashwar Rao, television artistes Venkat, Preetha Raaghav and Divyadarshini and popular Kannada model Hardeep Minhas. The music was by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography by Ravi Varman. The film in English was produced by the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC). It did not get a theatrical release, but was screened at the Shanghai International Film Festival, the Writers market at Santa Monica, and other venues.

Drishya (transl. Visual) is a 2014 Indian Kannada-language crime thriller film directed by P. Vasu and produced by E4 Entertainment, starring V. Ravichandran and Navya Nair. It is a remake of the 2013 Malayalam-language film Drishyam, directed by Jeethu Joseph and starring Mohanlal and Meena. The supporting cast feature an ensemble of Achyuth Kumar, Prabhu, Asha Sarath, Swaroopini Narayan, Unnathi and Rohith B. The film's music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. A remake of the Kannada film Josh (2009), the films featured music composed by Joshua Sridhar and were released in August 2011.
