Robert Scheidt is a Brazilian sailor who has won two gold medals, two silver medals and a bronze from five Olympic Games and a Star Sailors League Final. He is one of the most successful sailors at Olympic Games and one of the most successful Brazilian Olympic athletes, being one of only two to earn five medals along with fellow sailor Torben Grael, and the only Brazilian sailor to win medals in both dinghy and keelboat classes.
Thomas Johanson is a Finnish sailor and Olympic champion. He won a gold medal in the 49er Class with Jyrki Järvi at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney. In 2008–2009, he was a crew member on yacht Ericsson 3 and in 2011–12 on yacht PUMA Ocean Racing in the Volvo Ocean Race.
Allan Julie is a Laser sailor from the Seychelles. Julie is a five-time Olympian, and a gold medalist in the same sailing class at the 2011 All-Africa Games in Maputo, Mozambique.
Irina Emilova Konstantinova-Bontemps is a Bulgarian windsurfer, who specialized in Neil Pryde RS:X class. She represented Bulgaria in four editions of the Olympic Games, and has also placed outside the top ten in both Mistral and RS:X classes. In 2006, Konstantinova married French windsurfer, two-time world champion, and later 2008 Olympic silver medalist Julien Bontemps before she relocated to France, and trained for ASPTT Nantes. As of September 2013, Konstantinova is ranked no. 88 in the world for the sailboard class by the International Sailing Federation.
Peter Frederick Bromby is a Bermudian keelboat sailor, who specialized in Star class. He represented Bermuda in four editions of the Olympic Games, and has earned the third highest placement in the nation's Olympic history with an astonishing fourth-place finish. Bromby also captured a bronze medal, along with Michael Marcel, at the 1997 Star World Championships in Marblehead, Massachusetts, United States with a net total of 33 points.
Giedrius Gužys is a retired Lithuanian sailor, who specialized in the Laser class. He represented his nation Lithuania in two editions of the Olympic Games, and has placed outside the top ten in his respective sailing class at the ISAF World Championships and ISAF World Cup series. Guzys also trained throughout his sporting career for Bangpūtys Sailing Regatta in Kaunas.

He obtained two medals in his respective category at the Laser World Championship, and also represented his nation Sweden in two editions of the Olympic Games. Suneson trained throughout most of his sporting career for the Royal Swedish Yacht Club in Saltsjöbaden under his personal coach and brother Wilhelm Suneson.

Throughout his sporting career, Martinez trained full-time for the Royal Gran Canaria YC in his native Las Palmas under his personal coach Antón Garrote. Coming from a sailing pedigree, Martinez also competed with his brother and 470 sailor Gustavo Martínez Doreste in two Olympics.
Maciej Tadeusz Grabowski is a Polish sailor, who specialized in the Laser class. He had an impressive track record of two career European titles, and finished only in the top 16 in three editions of the Olympic Games, representing his nation Poland. Throughout his sporting career, Grabowski trained for Hestia Sopot Sailing Club and then became a member of the Polish Sailing Association under head coach Tomasz Chamera. As of June 2015, Grabowski is ranked outside the top 200 for the Laser class by the International Sailing Federation.

He bagged two silver medals at the Asian Games and became the first-ever Malaysian athlete in history to compete in four editions of the Summer Olympic Games. Before retiring from the sport in late 2008, Lim trained most of his career at the Woollahra Sailing Club in Sydney, Australia.
Pierre Angelo Collura is a Finnish former sailor, who specialized in the Laser class. He was born in Madagascar, and when he was four months old, a Finnish woman and an Italian man adopted him. Collura finished among the top fifteen sailors in the Laser Radial class at the 2005 ISAF Youth World Championships in Fortaleza, Brazil and represented his maternal homeland Finland in the senior Laser class at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Collura trained under the tutelage of his personal coach Alp Alpagut, while sailing separately for two different clubs at his parents' homebases, namely Lahden Purjehdusseura in Lahti and Circolo Vela Torbole in Torbole, Italy.
Ali Kemal Tüfekçi is a Turkish former sailor, who specialized in the Laser and Finn classes. He represented his country Turkey in the single-handed boat at the 2000 Summer Olympics, before switching to a heavyweight version on his second trip to Beijing 2008. Tüfekçi trained throughout his sporting career for Istanbul Sailing Club.
