Rose of Bethlehem is the third album and first Christmas album by CCM group Selah. It was released October 15, 2002 by Curb Records.
Andy Argyrakis of CCM Magazine gives the album four out of a possible five stars and writes, "anyone discovering these selections for the first time will surely delight in the vocal purity and inspirational arrangements throughout the title track, 'Silent Night', 'Light of the Stable' and 'Once Upon a Christmas' (which includes country great Dolly Parton)" [1]
Crosswalk says in their review, "With Selah, there's definitely more than meets the eye. The trio made up of two Smith siblings (Nicol and Todd) and one pianist (Allan Hall) may appear to be very average, normal folk at first glance. But with one listen to the vocal group steadily building a loyal following sans pomp and circumstance, you'll soon know their talent is far from the norm. And Rose of Bethlehem—their latest and first Christmas project—testifies to that fact." [2]

Casting Crowns is a contemporary Christian and Christian rock band from Daytona Beach, Florida. The band was formed in 1999 by lead vocalist Mark Hall. The band later moved to Stockbridge, Georgia, and more members joined. Some members of the band currently work as ministers for Eagle's Landing First Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia. The band has won a Grammy and a Dove Award.
"I Can Only Imagine" is a song by Christian rock band MercyMe. Written and composed by lead singer Bart Millard, it was originally recorded for the band's 1999 independent album The Worship Project before being included on their 2001 major-label debut album Almost There. The song was the last to be written for The Worship Project; in writing it, Millard drew upon his thoughts about his father's death. Lyrically, it imagines what it would be like to be in front of God in heaven; it opens with just a piano before building to include guitar and drums.
Almost There is the first studio album by the American Christian rock band MercyMe. Produced by Pete Kipley, it was released on August 14, 2001, by INO Records. After releasing six albums as an unsigned band, they decided to pursue a record contract because it became too difficult to sell albums, book shows, and manage themselves. Peace on Earth is the first Christmas album by American Christian rock band Casting Crowns. Produced by Mark Hall and Mark A. Miller, it was released on October 7, 2008. Intended by Hall to bring out the worshipful aspect of Christmas, the album does not have songs relating to secular Christmas traditions, instead featuring a mix of traditional Christmas carols and original songs. As co-producer, Hall attempted to differentiate the album from their previous ones by attempting to use creative ideas they had not tried before, and he also wanted to utilize the band's female members in a broader and more visible role on the album.
