The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.
Olga Valentinovna Korbut is a retired Belarusian gymnast who competed for the Soviet Union. Nicknamed the "Sparrow from Minsk", she won four gold medals and two silver medals at the Summer Olympic Games, in which she competed in 1972 and 1976 for the Soviet team, and was the inaugural inductee to the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 1988.

Robert Patrick McVey is an American ice hockey player. He won a gold medal at the 1960 Winter Olympics, bringing home the US's first Olympic Hockey Gold Medal while playing on the team's top line with Bill Cleary and Bob Cleary. He went to Harvard and then onto the Olympics after turning down a professional offer from the Boston Bruins to play for their top minor league team the Kingston Frontenacs (EPHL) in 1959. He lived in Hamden, Connecticut and now lives in Florida.
Adhemar Ferreira da Silva was a Brazilian triple jumper. He won two Olympic gold medals and set four world records, the last being 16.56 metres in 1955 Pan American Games. In his early career he also competed in the long jump, placing fourth at the 1951 Pan American Games. He broke world records in triple jump on five occasions during his illustrious career. To date, he remains the only track and field athlete from South America to have won two Olympic gold medals.
Ion Popa is a Romanian-born, former Australian representative rower – a national champion, world champion, dual Olympian and Olympic medal winner.
Edward Joseph Scrobe was an American artistic gymnast who competed in the 1948 and 1952 Summer Olympics. He died in November 2017 at the age of 94.
Rosemary Olivia Wright is a former British sprinter and middle-distance runner. She won a gold medal in the 4 × 400 m relay at the 1969 European Championships, and a gold medal in the 800m at the 1970 Commonwealth Games. Her 800m best of 2:00.15, stood as the Scottish record for 30 years (1972-2002).
Rosemary Ryan is a retired Irish long-distance runner who was on the Ireland 2000 Summer Olympics team. Born in Limerick, she attended the University of Limerick between 1996 and 1998. She competed for Ireland five times at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships between 1999 and 2006.
Rosemary Quispe is a Bolivian long distance runner. She qualified for the 2016 Summer Olympics at the 2016 Hamburg Marathon, which was her first official marathon race. She finished 117th at the 2016 Olympics in a time of 2:58:32.
