Roy: A Tribute to Roy Orbison is the fourth studio album by Damien Leith. It was released by Sony BMG in Australia on 15 April 2011 to coincide with Roy Orbison's 75th birthday.
In 2006, while in the top 10 of Australian Idol , Damien performed Orbison's 1961 hit "Crying" to a standing ovation. Barbara Orbison, Roy's widow saw the performance and contacted the show's producers for a copy. She asked to hear more, eventually leading to an entire tribute album for what would have been Roy's 75th birthday.
One or more Roy Orbison covers were planned for 2008's Catch the Wind: Songs of a Generation , but instead led to recording this album. Three music videos were released, one for "Only the Lonely", one for "Oh, Pretty Woman", and one for "Blue Bayou" (featuring The McClymonts).

Roy Kelton Orbison was an American singer, songwriter, and musician known for his impassioned singing style, complex song structures, and dark, emotional ballads. Orbison's music is mostly in the rock genre and his most successful periods were in the early 1960s and the late 1980s. His music was described by critics as operatic, earning him the nicknames "The Caruso of Rock" and "The Big O". Many of Orbison's songs conveyed vulnerability at a time when most male rock-and-roll performers projected machismo. He performed with minimal motion and in black clothes, matching his dyed black hair and dark sunglasses.
Joe Melson is an American singer and a BMI Award-winning songwriter best known for his collaborations with Roy Orbison, including "Only the Lonely" and "Crying", which are both in the Grammy Hall of Fame and have both been included in Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Melson was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2018.
Roy Orbison and Friends: A Black and White Night is a 1988 Cinemax television special originally broadcast on January 3, 1988, starring triple Hall of Fame inductee rock/pop singer/songwriter Roy Orbison and backing band TCB Band with special guests including Bruce Springsteen, k.d. lang and others. The special was filmed entirely in black and white. After the broadcast the concert was released on VHS and Laserdisc. A live album was released in 1989.
Mystery Girl is the twenty-second album by American singer Roy Orbison. It was his last album to be recorded during his lifetime, as he completed the album in November 1988, a month before his death at the age of 52, and it was released posthumously by Virgin Records on January 31, 1989. It includes the hit singles "You Got It", which was co-written by Orbison and his Traveling Wilburys bandmates Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty, and "She's a Mystery to Me", written by Bono and The Edge. The album was a critical and commercial success; it peaked at number 5 on the Billboard 200 in the United States, the highest position Orbison had achieved on that chart, and number 2 on the UK Albums Chart.

Live at Austin City Limits is a DVD and CD released by Image Entertainment in 2003 and 2001, respectively. The set captures a live performance by singer Roy Orbison on August 5, 1982 from the PBS television show Austin City Limits. Orbison was the first "legend" to appear on the weekly series, which, at the time, featured local Texas performers. It is said that Orbison's appearance on the show paved the way for other legends such as Ray Charles, Marty Robbins, and even Johnny Cash to appear on the series. Unfortunately, Orbison was recovering from recent triple bypass heart surgery and also had a head cold on the day so his voice was not as strong as it was usually.

The Winner's Journey is a live album and DVD based on Australian Idol 2006 winner Damien Leith's performances on the show. The full-length album features remastered versions of Leith's live performances from the show, along with the studio version of his debut single "Night of My Life" and two of his original tracks, "Come to Me" and "Sky". The album was certified platinum on its first week release, and was certified four times platinum on its second week. It remained the number one album on the ARIA Charts for five weeks, and remained in the top ten for a total of ten weeks.
