Roy Lester is an English former professional rugby league footballer and coach. He played as a prop for Leigh, Warrington and Fulham RLFC, and Lancashire at representative level. He later coached Fulham and Carlisle, and was also assistant coach at Warrington before the advent of Super League. [5]
Lester was an unused sub in the 1971 Challenge Cup Final where Leigh beat Leeds 24–7 at Wembley Stadium in front of a crowd of 85,514. [6]
Lester was newly founded Fulham's first signing, when he signed on a free transfer from Warrington in 1980. [7] [8]
In 2019 he was inducted into the London Broncos Hall of Fame. [9]

Alexander James Murphy OBE is an English former professional rugby league footballer, and coach of the mid to late 20th century. Known as 'Murphy the Mouth' and regarded as one of the greatest halfbacks in the history of the British game, he represented Great Britain in 27 Tests and his club career was played at three clubs, St. Helens, Leigh and Warrington. Murphy assumed a player-coach role of the last two clubs and expanded his coaching role toward the end of his playing career to include clubs such as Wigan, Salford and Huddersfield. He later returned to both Warrington and Leigh respectively as a football manager. He was the first player to captain three different clubs to victory in the Challenge Cup Final.
Rob Parker is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 2000s and 2010s. He played for Leigh, signing from Super League neighbours Salford City Reds in time for the 2012 season. An England international representative forward, he previously played for Super League clubs; the Bradford Bulls, London Broncos and the Warrington Wolves.

He played at representative level for Great Britain, England, Combined Nationalities and Lancashire, and at club level for Warrington, as a scrum-half, and coached at club level. Helme played almost all of his club career for Warrington, with whom he won three Championship Finals and two Challenge Cup Finals and became a Warrington Wolves Hall of Fame inductee.

He played at representative level for Great Britain and England and Lancashire, and at club level for Wigan from 1938 to 1950, Oldham and Leigh, as a hooker, or second-row, i.e. number 9, or, 11 or 12, during the era of contested scrums, and coached at club level for Leigh, Wigan, Widnes, Warrington and Blackpool Borough. Egan is a Wigan Hall of Fame inductee, and was a life member at Wigan, Egan later became coach of Wigan, taking them to Championship success in the 1959–60 season.

He played at representative level for Great Britain, England and Lancashire, and at club level for Broughton Rangers/Belle Vue Rangers, Oldham RLFC, Huddersfield, St. Helens and Warrington, with whom he won the 1953–54 Challenge Cup, as a wing, i.e. number 2 or 5. and coached at club level for St. Helens and Salford. McCormick is a St Helens R.F.C. Hall of Fame inductee.

They also competed in the 1980–81 Challenge Cup and the 1980–81 League Cup. They finished the season in 3rd place and were promoted to the top tier of professional rugby league in the UK.
