Rragam is a settlement in the former Guri i Zi municipality, Shkodër County, northern Albania. [1] [2] At the 2015 local government reform it became part of the municipality Shkodër. [3]
Shkodër District was one of the 36 districts of Albania, which were dissolved in July 2000 and replaced by 12 newly created counties. It had a population of 185,794 in 2001, and an area of 1,631 km2 (630 sq mi). It is in the north of the country, and its capital was the city of Shkodër. Its territory is now part of Shkodër County: the municipalities of Shkodër and Vau i Dejës.
Gjeravica or Đeravica is the second-highest mountain peak in the Accursed Mountains mountain range and the Dinaric Alps chain, after Maja Jezercë. It is the second-highest mountain in Kosovo,. It has an elevation of 2,656 m (8,714 ft) above sea level. Gjeravica is in the western part of Kosovo, in the municipality of Junik. Before the 20th century, Gjeravica used to be called Kaluđerovica, because of the Serbian Orthodox Monastery of Peć at the gateway to the mountains.
