Ruben Fritzner Providence (born 7 July 2001) is a French professional footballer who plays as a winger or forward for Dutch Eredivisie club Almere City.

Career

In 2019, Providence joined the youth academy of Italian Serie A side Roma. [1] [2] [3] [4] In 2021, he was sent on loan to Club Brugge in Belgium. [5] Before the second half of 2021–22, he was sent on loan to Portuguese club Estoril. [6]

In 2022, Providence was sent on loan to TSV Hartberg in Austria. [7] On 2 October 2022, he debuted for TSV Hartberg during a 3–2 loss to Austria Klagenfurt. [8]

On 29 August 2024, Providence signed a three-year contract with Almere City in the Netherlands. [9]

Personal life

Born in France, Providence is of Haitian descent. [10] He is a youth international for France, having played for the France U19s. [11]
