Rudransh Khandelwal (born 19 November 2006) [1] is an Indian para shooter from Rajasthan who competes in the 50m pistol event in SH1 category. He qualified to represent India at the 2024 Summer Paralympics at Paris. [2] [3] He finished 9th in the 10m Air Pistol event qualification round and did not advance to the final. In the 50m pistol SH1 qualifying event, he finished 22nd. [1]

Early life

Khandelwal is from Bharatpur, Rajasthan. In 2015, while attending a cousin's marriage, he lost his leg in a fireworks blast. [4]

Career

Khandewal won a silver medal at the Para Shooting World Cup at New Delhi in March 2024. In the mixed 50m pistol event, he shot 530 and won a silver medal along with Nihal (527) and Singhraj Adhana (516) to aggregate a total score of 1573. [2] He won two gold at his second international event at the World Shooting Para Sport World Cup in Osijek, Croatia in October 2023. [4] He also created a world record in the P4 mixed 50m pistol SH1 category at the same event in Croatia. [5] [6]
