Rugby sevens at the 2007 South Pacific Games took place from 31 August to 1 September 2007 at Apia, Samoa. Fiji won their third Pacific Games gold medal after defeating Samoa in the final, and Papua New Guinea defeated the Solomon Islands to win bronze. [1] [2]

The Fiji men's national football team is Fiji's national men's team and is controlled by the governing body of football in Fiji, the Fiji Football Association. The team plays most of their home games at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
The Pacific Games, is a continental multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from Oceania. The inaugural Games took place in 1963 in Suva, Fiji, and most recently in 2019 in Apia, Samoa. The Games were called the South Pacific Games from 1963 to 2007. The 2011 Pacific Games men's rugby sevens tournament was held in New Caledonia from 31 August to 2 September 2011 in Nouméa. Samoa won the gold medal defeating Fiji by 21–19 in the final. Papua New Guinea took the bronze medal defeating Niue 10–5 in the third place match.
The Wallis and Futuna national rugby sevens team is a minor national team that competes in the Pacific Games and in regional tournaments.
Rugby sevens at the 2015 Pacific Games was held from 8–10 July at the Sir John Guise Stadium. In the men's tournament Fiji won the gold medal defeating defending champions Samoa by a 26 point margin in the final. Tonga took the bronze medal. Fiji also won the women's tournament, defeating Australia by a successful try conversion in the final, with hosts Papua New Guinea winning the bronze medal.
The Men's touch rugby tournament at the 2015 Pacific Games was held in Port Moresby from 3 to 7 July 2015 at the Bisini Touch Football Fields.
