The Rupandehi Challengers (often abbreviated as RC) are a franchise cricket team representing the city of Rupandehi in the Dhangadhi Premier League (DPL). Founded in 2017 one of the six founding teams of the DPL, the Rupandehi franchise is owned by Suraj Upreti. Shakti Gauchan is the captain and the strategic player of the team.
The Dhangadhi Premier League began its tournament in 2018 with 6 teams from representing different cities and districts of Nepal. Rupandehi Challengers was part of the founding team to participate in the DPL 2017. [1] [2]
Rupandehi Challengers finished 3rd in the tournament despite topping the preliminary group stage and qualifying to the playoffs. RC lost both of its playoff match and thus missed an opportunity to qualify for the finals. [3]

Pokhara Premier League is a franchise Twenty20 cricket tournament held in Nepal. The tournament is managed by Queen's Event Management.
The Nepal national cricket team nicknamed The Rhinos and Gorkhalis, represents the country of Nepal in International cricket and is governed by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). They have been an Associate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1996. Nepal were awarded Twenty20 International (T20I) status by the ICC in June 2014 until the 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier. On 15 March 2018, Nepal gained One Day International (ODI) status for the first time, after winning the first playoff match in the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier.
The 2009 Indian Premier League season, abbreviated as IPL 2 or the 2009 IPL, was the second season of the Indian Premier League, established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. Sompal Kami is a Nepalese professional cricketer. Kami is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm fast-medium bowler. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands, in August 2018. In January 2019, he became the first bowler for Nepal to take a five-wicket haul in an ODI match.
The 2018 ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament that took place during March 2018 in Zimbabwe. It formed the final part of the Cricket World Cup qualification process for the 2019 World Cup in England and Wales. The top two teams, Afghanistan and the West Indies, qualified for the World Cup, joining the hosts and the seven teams who had already qualified through their ranking in the ICC ODI Championship. Afghanistan won the tournament, beating the West Indies by 7 wickets in the final. The 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier was a cricket tournament that was held in Malaysia from 29 August to 6 September 2018. The event served as the qualifier for the 2018 Asia Cup. The top two teams from the group stage met in the final, with the winner progressing to the 2018 Asia Cup. The fixture between the United Arab Emirates and Nepal on 30 August 2018 was a One Day International (ODI) match. It was the first time both sides had played each other in an ODI match, with the UAE going on to win the fixture by 78 runs.

The 2020 Manmohan Memorial National One-Day Cricket Tournament was the second edition of one of the main domestic 50-over competitions in Nepal, alongside the Prime Minister One Day Cup. The tournament featured sides representing the seven provinces of Nepal plus three departments, the host club and a Malaysian XI. This was the second edition of the tournament after the first was held in January 2019. The Malaysian national side played a series of one-day matches against Nepal after the conclusion of the tournament.
The 2020–21 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 international cricket tournament that took place in April 2021 in Nepal. The participating teams were Nepal, Malaysia and the Netherlands. The matches were all played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. The tournament was played in a double round-robin format, followed by a final between the top two sides.
