Warwickshire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Warwickshire.

Steve Andrew is an English first-class and List A cricketer who played First-class cricket for Hampshire County Cricket Club and Essex County Cricket Club. He also played for these teams in List A games and he also played List A games for Hertfordshire. His highest score in First-class cricket of 35 came when playing for Essex in the match against Northamptonshire County Cricket Club. His best bowling in First-class cricket of 7/47 came when playing for Essex in the match against Lancashire County Cricket Club. His highest List A score of 32 came when playing for Essex against Yorkshire County Cricket Club. His best bowling of 5/24 in List A cricket came when playing for Essex in a match against Hampshire County Cricket Club.
Peter James Robinson is a former English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Worcestershire and Somerset during the 1960s and 1970s;he also played List A cricket for Somerset,who capped him in 1966. He is the nephew of England Test cricketer Roly Jenkins.
Garnet Morley Lee was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Nottinghamshire between 1910 and 1922 and for Derbyshire between 1925 and 1933. He scored nearly 15,000 runs in his first-class career.
Thomas Auckland Hall was an English amateur cricketer who played first-class cricket for Derbyshire from 1949 to 1952,for Somerset from 1953 to 1954 and for Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) between 1951 and 1955.
Frank Henry Vigar was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Essex County Cricket Club between 1938 and 1954. A right-handed batsman,and leg break bowler,Vigar served as an all-rounder with 8,858 runs at 26.28 and 241 wickets at 37.90. From his rained-off debut in 1938,Vigar went on to play 257 matches for his county. His greatest success came in the "golden summer" of 1947,where he scored 1,735 runs and took 64 wickets. A partnership with Peter Smith of 218 for the final wicket remains an Essex record.

The 1979 Gillette Cup Final was a cricket match between Somerset County Cricket Club and Northamptonshire County Cricket Club played on 8 September 1979 at Lord's in London. It was the seventeenth final of the Gillette Cup,which had been the first English domestic knock-out competition between first-class sides. Northamptonshire had won the competition in 1976;Somerset were playing their second consecutive final,having lost to Sussex in 1978.

He also played for many amateur teams. He was born in Leicester and died at Merton,Surrey. He was the brother of the England Test cricketer Jack Crawford and of the Leicestershire first-class cricketer Reginald Crawford.
Michael Gregory Kerran Burgess is an English cricketer who plays for Warwickshire County Cricket Club. A wicketkeeper batsman,Burgess came through the Surrey Academy,making a total of 31 appearances at 2nd XI level between 2011 and 2013.
The 2020 Bob Willis Trophy was a first-class cricket tournament held in the 2020 English cricket season,and the inaugural edition of the Bob Willis Trophy. It was separate from the County Championship,which was not held in 2020 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom. The eighteen county cricket teams were split into three regional groups of six,with the two group winners with the most points advancing to a final held at Lord's. The maximum number of overs bowled in a day was reduced from 96 to 90,and the team's first innings could be no longer than 120 overs.
The 2021 County Championship was the 121st cricket County Championship season in England and Wales. For the first phase of the tournament,the teams were split into three groups of six,with each side playing ten matches. The top two teams from each group progressed into Division One for the second phase of the competition,with the other teams progressing to Divisions Two and Three. The team that finished top of Division One became the county champions;and the top two teams from Division One contested a five-day match at Lord's for the Bob Willis Trophy. On 17 December 2020,the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) confirmed all the fixtures for the tournament. After completion of the group stage on 14 July 2021,the ECB confirmed the fixtures for the division stage on 22 July 2021.
