Rush Lake is a lake located in Winnebago County and Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. [1]
Rush Lake is roughly shaped like an inverted triangle; the lake is widest at its north end. It covers an area of 2,729 acres (11.04 km2), and reaches a maximum depth of 5 feet (1.5 m). [2] The lake is rather shallow, with an average depth of only 1.5 feet (0.46 m).
Rush Lake is mainly located in Winnebago County, about 18 miles (29 km) southwest of Oshkosh. Only the southern most point is in Fond du Lac County near Wilmoore Heights.

Fond du Lac County comprises the Fond du Lac, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Holyland region is in northeastern Fond du Lac County.

The unincorporated communities of Artesia Beach, Calumet Harbor, Garnet, Highland Park, Johnsburg, Laudolff Beach, Marytown, Pipe, Pukwana Beach, Winnebago Heights, and Winnebago Park are located within the town. The unincorporated community of Calumetville is located partially in the town.
North Fond du Lac is a village in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 5,378 at the 2020 census. Despite the name, North Fond du Lac is actually located northwest of Fond du Lac, as Lake Winnebago is directly north of Fond du Lac.

Lake Winnebago is a shallow freshwater lake in the north central United States, located in east central Wisconsin. At 137,700 acres it is the largest lake entirely within the state, covering an area of about 30 miles by 10 miles, with 88 miles of shoreline, an average depth of 15.5 feet, and a maximum depth of 21 feet. It has many shallow reefs along the west shore, and a drop-off type shoreline on the east. There are several islands along the west shore.

The Fond du Lac Indian Reservation is an Indian reservation in northern Minnesota near Cloquet in Carlton and Saint Louis counties. Off-reservation holdings are located across the state in Douglas County, in the northwest corner of Wisconsin. The total land area of these tribal lands is 154.49 square miles (400.1 km2). It is the land-base for the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. Before the establishment of this reservation, the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa were located at the head of Lake Superior, closer to the mouth of the Saint Louis River, where Duluth has developed.

The Fond du Lac Light is a lighthouse located at the entrance to the harbor and Yacht Club, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. It is located on the southern end of Lake Winnebago. It is currently incorporated in the Fond du Lac City Seal. Construction of the lighthouse started in May 1933 and was completed shortly after October. It replaced an ordinary red light that previously marked the harbor entrance.

Green Lake has a maximum depth of 237 ft (72 m), making it the deepest natural inland lake in Wisconsin and the second largest by volume. The lake covers 29.72 km2 and has an average depth of 30.48 m (100.0 ft). Green Lake has 43.94 km (27.30 mi) of diverse shoreline, ranging from sandstone bluffs to marshes.
Pipe, Wisconsin is an unincorporated community in the Town of Calumet in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, United States. It is located approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) east of Lake Winnebago.
Johnsburg, Wisconsin is an unincorporated community in the Town of Calumet in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. The community is located on County Roads Q and W, approximately 3.3 miles (5.3 km) east of Lake Winnebago, 2.75 miles (4.43 km) southeast of Pipe and 1.4 miles (2.3 km) northwest of Malone. Johnsburg is part of the Holyland region in northeastern Fond du Lac county.
Marytown, Wisconsin is an unincorporated community in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin, in the town of Calumet. Marytown is located at the intersection of Fond du Lac County highways G and HH. Wisconsin Highway 149 ran north to south through the community before it was decommissioned in 2006.
Calumetville is an unincorporated community that straddles the county line between Calumet and Fond du Lac counties in Wisconsin. The main part of the community in Fond du Lac County lies in the town of Calumet, and the part in Calumet County lies in the town of Brothertown.

Taycheedah, Wisconsin is an unincorporated census-designated place in the Town of Taycheedah in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin. The community is located adjacent to the city of Fond du Lac and Lake Winnebago. As of the 2010 census, its population is 704. Taycheedah calls itself the "Sheepshead Fishing Center of the World". U.S. Route 151 ran through the community until a bypass around Fond du Lac was built in the 2000s.
Mascoutin Valley State Trail is a rail trail in northeastern Wisconsin. The trail is used for walking, bicycling, horseback riding, and snowmobiling during the winter months. The trail can also be used for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing but the trail is not groomed and must be shared with snowmobiles. Numerous miles of snowmobile trails connect to the Mascoutin Valley State Trail.
