Ryan Blair Additon (born December 5, 1985) is an American umpire in Major League Baseball. [1] After graduating from Lynn University, he pitched one season for the Kalamazoo Kings of the Frontier League. He wears uniform number 67.
Additon attended Western High School in Davie, Florida, and was selected by the San Francisco Giants in the 42nd round of the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft. [2] He opted to play baseball at Lynn University, then continued his playing career with the Kalamazoo Kings of the Frontier League for the 2008 season. [3] [4] Additon was hired as a professional baseball umpire in 2010 and started in the Gulf Coast League. By the 2016 season, Additon had been promoted to the Triple-A level. [4] [5] He began working as a call-up umpire during the 2017 Major League Baseball season, making his debut on May 21, 2017, working at first base during a game Target Field. [6] As a call-up umpire, Additon was behind home plate when Corey Kluber pitched a no-hitter on May 19, 2021. [7] [8] He was promoted to the full-time MLB staff on February 4, 2022. [7]
Additon’s first MLB postseason assignment was the 2023 National League Division Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks. [9]

John Francis Hirschbeck is a former umpire for Major League Baseball. He worked in the American League from 1984 to 1999 and worked in both leagues from 2000 to 2016. He was a crew chief at the time of his retirement, and wore uniform number 17 throughout his career. Hirschbeck announced his retirement following the 2016 season. Culbreth wore number 42 while he was an American League umpire, then changed to 25 in 2000 after the MLB umpires were unified into one crew.
Kerwin Joseph Danley is an American former umpire in Major League Baseball who worked in the National League (NL) from 1992 to 1999 and throughout both leagues from 2000 to 2021. He wore uniform number 44. He was promoted to crew chief for the 2020 season, becoming the first full time African-American crew chief. Danley has umpired in the 2008 and 2018 World Series and the 2007 and 2016 Major League Baseball All-Star Games. He is married to Marisa Danley.
Armando Antonio Galarraga Barreto is a Venezuelan former professional baseball pitcher. Galarraga made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut with the Texas Rangers on September 15, 2007. He was traded to the Detroit Tigers at the end of the 2007 season where he spent three seasons. He then played in MLB for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Houston Astros. In 2010, Galarraga was one out away from a perfect game when first base umpire Jim Joyce mistakenly called the runner safe.
