Ryan Dale Stevenson (born January 21, 1979) is an American Christian music singer, musician and guitarist, who primarily plays a contemporary Christian music and worship style of music. His record label is Gotee Records, co-owned by Christian music artist TobyMac. He released three extended plays, Yesterday, Today, Forever, with BEC Recordings, Champion of the World, independently, and Hold Nothing Back, with Gotee Records. His first studio album, Fresh Start , was released on September 18, 2015, with Gotee Records. He's had five songs chart on the Billboard charts, "Holding Nothing Back", "The Human Side", "Not Forgotten", "All Yours" and "Eye of the Storm".

Early life

Ryan Dale Stevenson [1] was born on January 21, [2] 1979 in Bonanza, Oregon, [3] to James and Phyllis; he has an older sister, Janay. [4] They raised him in the church, exposing him to hymns at an early age. [3] [5] He was given his first instrument, a guitar, at 18 years old. [5] Stevenson credits his mother as the one who fostered his musical skills while growing up, through her prayers and support for his chosen profession. [5] His mother died of bone cancer on October 3, 2009, at 58 years old. [4] [5] He attended Northwest Christian College, where he honed his musical talent with his roommate, Paul Wright. They formed a small band, primarily focusing on acoustic music and performing at local restaurants in and around Eugene, Oregon. [5]

Music career

His music career commenced in 2003. [6] However, his first release, an independently made album, Running to You, was not released, until June 12, 2007, by Off the Vine Music. [7] He released, The Undiscovered, [8] independently in 2010. [6] The first extended play, Yesterday, Today, Forever, was released on February 15, 2011, with BEC Recordings. [9] [10] He released, a second extended play, Champion of the World, independently, on July 1, 2012. [11] His third extended play, Holding Nothing Back, was released on September 10, 2013, from Gotee Records. [12] [13] [14] Stevenson's songs have appeared on the Billboard magazine charts six-times, with two placing on two charts the Christian Songs and Christian Airplay, and those songs are "Holding Nothing Back", "The Human Side", "Not Forgotten", and "All Yours". [15] [16] The first studio album, Fresh Start , was released on September 18, 2015, by Gotee Records and featured the 15-week No. 1 single "Eye of the Storm". [6] In 2018, he also released No Matter What.

Personal life

He is married to Kim. [4] Stevenson was the worship minister at Vertical Church. [17] Before his music career began, Stevenson had been a paramedic for seven years. [17]

What If We is the second studio album by contemporary Christian musician Brandon Heath. It was released on August 19, 2008 through Provident Label Group. During mid and late 2008, the album's first single "Give Me Your Eyes" stayed at No. 1 on R&R's Christian CHR format for 13 consecutive weeks, and was the second most played song of 2008 for the same format. The album received a Grammy Award nomination in 2009 for Best Pop Gospel Album.

Unspoken is an American Christian band. The band is composed of Chad Mattson, Jon Lowry, and Ariel Munoz. The band released their debut single, "Who You Are", on the Centricity Music label. Released on June 12, 2012, the song has charted on numerous Christian song charts, and was the only song from the band's debut EP Get to Me to be featured on their first full-length album. The self-titled debut LP Unspoken was released April 1, 2014. A five-song preview EP, The World Is Waking, was released July 24, 2013. They have had four straight top-five AC singles in their career including "Who You Are", "Lift My Life Up", "Start a Fire", and "Good Fight", with "Start a Fire" reaching No. 1; the song "Lift My Life Up" was also included on the 2015 WOW Hits release. The band also toured alongside Big Daddy Weave and Sanctus Real.

Carrollton was an American contemporary Christian music band from Cincinnati, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky, United States. They formed in 2008, as Mosteller. Their current members are bass guitarist/background vocalist Jordan Bailey, drummer/background vocalist Michael Loy, lead vocalist/guitarist Stephen Moore, and lead guitarist/background vocalist David Terry. They released Breathe in Deep, an extended play (EP), with Centricity Music in 2014, and this EP was reviewed by many Christian music publications. The song, "Holding on to You", charted on the Christian Airplay Billboard magazine chart. Their 2017 song "Made For This" was featured in advertisements for NBCUniversal's coverage of the 2018 Winter Olympics. Carrollton released its latest project, a self-titled album, on May 8, 2020. On March 25, 2021, Carrollton made an announcement on Instagram that they will no longer be making music.

Fighting Instinct was the debut album of the band Fighting Instinct, released on June 27, 2006. The self-titled album consists of 10 tracks. The album's lead single, "I Found Forever", rose to No. 31 on the active rock charts with virtually no touring. Another single, "Back to You", reached No. 5 on the Christian CHR charts. "Back to You" was also featured on a Gotee Records compilations named "Gotee Hits". An acoustic version of "Back to You" was recorded for another Gotee Records compilation, called "Gotee Acoustic". "Just to Please You" was featured on another Gotee Records compilation named "Gotee Worship".
