Sociaal Cultureel Sport Vereniging Takdier Boys also SCSV Takdier Boys or simply Takdier Boys, are a Surinamese football (soccer) club from Livorno, Suriname founded in 1952. The club compete in the Hoofdklasse, the highest level of football in Suriname. [1]

The Surinaamse Voetbal Bond (SVB) Hoofdklasse is second-highest division overall in the Surinamese football league system after the Topklasse, where the top club is promoted to each season. The weakest club is relegated to the Lidbondentoernooi. The league was previously known as the SVB Eerste Klasse but became the Hoofdklasse for the 2016–17 season after Suriname's top division changed its name from Hoofdklasse to Topklasse.

In 2010 the club made it to the finals of the Surinamese Cup which they lost 2–0 to SV Excelsior. [2]

Voetbal Vereniging Ajax commonly known as Ajax, was a Surinamese football club based in Paramaribo that played in the Surinamese Hoofdklasse, the highest level of football in Suriname. The club played their home games on the Mr. Bronsplein. Named after the Dutch football club Ajax, the club was founded on 3 June 1921 by H. Gunning. The chairman of the club in its inception was H.M. Roy Vanenburg is a Surinamese football manager and former player, who was last manager of Hoofdklasse club S.V. Transvaal. He spent most of his professional playing career with S.V. Transvaal, winning six Hoofdklasse titles, and two CONCACAF Champions Cups, finishing as the league top scorer in both 1968 and in 1971. He had previously played for H.V.V. and S.V. Robinhood before joining Transvaal in 1967.

The 2016–17 Telesur Topklasse is the 84th season of top tier Suriname football league and 1st season of the Topklasse, the highest football league competition of Suriname. The season began in November 2016, and ended in June 2017. Telesur became official broadcaster and sponsor of the Topklasse before the start of this season.
