SIIMA Lifetime Achievement Award is an award presented by Vibri media group as part of its annual South Indian International Movie Awards for the person who contributed much to the film industry. It was instituted in 2012, with Ambareesh being the first recipient.

Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema besides having directed a few Hindi films. He has garnered seven state Nandi Awards and five Filmfare Awards South. In a film career spanning more than four decades, Rao has directed more than a hundred feature films across multiple genres such as romantic comedy, fantasy, melodrama, action thriller, biographical and romance films.
South Indian International Movie Awards, also known as the SIIMA Awards, rewards the artistic and technical achievements of the South Indian film industry. It was launched in 2012 by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Brinda Prasad Adusimilli to appreciate film makers from across the South Indian film industries: Tamil cinema, Telugu cinema, Kannada cinema, and Malayalam cinema, and provide a platform to promote South Indian films in international markets.
The SIIMA Award for Best Film – Malayalam is an award, begun in 2012, presented annually at the South Indian International Movie Awards to a film and production house via viewers and the winner is announced at the ceremony. The nominations for the category are given by the jury members.
The 1st South Indian International Movie Awards were presented on June 22, 2012, in Dubai, UAE, to honour the best cinematic achievements of the South Indian film industry in the year 2011. Producing films in four Dravidian languages of South India, professionals were handed over a total of 71 Awards. The ceremony was hosted by R. Madhavan and Lakshmi Manchu at the Dubai World Trade Centre, while the "Generation Next Awards Night" was hosted by Parvathy Omanakuttan and held a day before at Park Hyatt on June 21.
The 2nd South Indian International Movie Awards were presented on September 12–13, 2013 in Sharjah, UAE, to honour the best cinematic achievements of the South Indian film industry in the year 2012. Initially planned for June 20–21, the date was postponed due to "100 years of Indian cinema" jubilee festivities. The ceremony was hosted by Arya, Shriya Saran, Rana Daggubati and Sonu Sood at the Expo Centre Sharjah, while the "Generation Next Awards Night" was hosted a day before by Parvathy Omanakuttan and Ash Chandler. Differing from the 1st SIIMA Awards, technical Awards were presented on the first day as well. Show performances were delivered by Shruthi Haasan, Hansika Motwani, Shriya Saran, Rima Kallingal, Usha Uthup, Pranitha Subhash, Anirudh Ravichander, Ragini Dwivedi, Aindrita Ray, Andrea Jeremiah, Parul Yadav, Remya Nambeesan, Lakshmi Menon, Regina Cassandra and Meera Nandan.

She made her acting debut with 2016 Kannada film Kirik Party, and Telugu debut with Chalo (2018), and in Tamil with Sulthan (2021). She is also set to make her Hindi debut with the film Goodbye.
