Sabine Herbst-Klenz (born 27 June 1974, in Leipzig, Sachsen) is a retired female butterfly and medley swimmer from Germany. She twice competed for her native country at the Summer Olympics: 1996 and 2000. Herbst is the daughter of Olympians Eva Wittke and Jochen Herbst, and the sister of swimmer Stefan Herbst.
Her son Ramon Klenz is also a swimmer. He broke the 32-year old German record of Michael Groß in 200m Butterfly.
Kristin Otto is a German Olympic swimming champion. She is most famous for being the first woman to win six gold medals at a single Olympic Games, doing so at the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games. In long course, she held the world records in the 100 meter and 200 meter freestyle events. Otto was also the first woman to swim the short course 100 meter backstroke in under a minute, doing so at an international short course meet at Indiana University in 1983.
Misty Dawn Marie Hyman is an American former competition swimmer, Olympic gold medalist, and former world record-holder. Hyman won the gold medal in the women's 200-meter butterfly at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.

She was the only non-Soviet bloc female swimmer to win an individual gold medal at the 1980 games.
