Sahibabad is the name for a group of industrial, residential and commercial areas within the jurisdiction of Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (Vasundhara Zone) [1] in Ghaziabad District of Uttar Pradesh, India. It touches the borders of Delhi, Noida and City Zone of Ghaziabad and constitutes a part of the Delhi National Capital Region.

The Delhi–Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System is an 82.15 km (51.05 mi) long, semi-high speed rail corridor currently under construction which will connect Delhi, Ghaziabad, and Meerut. Hindon Airport, also spelled Hindan Airport, is a civil enclave in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, operated by the Airports Authority of India at Hindon Air Force Station of the Indian Air Force. It is the second commercial airport in the Delhi NCR after Indira Gandhi International Airport The airport was primarily built to handle flights operating under the Government's regional connectivity scheme and hence reducing the burden of regional flights from Delhi's main airport. In 2019, there were two airlines operating regional flights from the airport, but since 23 January 2023, both of them stopped service, resulting with no flight from Hindon.
