He is a graduate of Economics of Ahmadu Bello University,(ABU) Zaria with a second class and had his master's degree in Development Studies from Bayero University,Kano with ten years of professional work experience,under three sectors which include Banking,and Oil/Gas. He started with the Zenith Bank Plc in 2000 and then Oando Plc being the sales manager in Adamawa,Jalingo,Benue,Kano,Jigawa. He is the COO of Gerawa Global Engineering Limited. Also in 2005,he was the spokesman in the Solitaire Economics Class at the Ahmadu Bello University,Zaria,which took place in Abuja. He is the present Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Finance. He is the son of Musa Abdullahi a retired chief judge in Niger State High Court. He joined politics in 2019 under the platform of All Progressives Congress as a candidate of Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal constituency in Niger State,in a statements by him that if the ticket of Gubernatorial election was not given to the present Governor as well as Muhammadu Buhari that it would be a diversion to him. Nupe people are the oldest tribe in Niger State, They are believed to have inhabited the areas their now identified with since time immemorial this have been dated 9,000B.C or 40,000 years ago, thus making them one of the world's oldest civilizations.
The Nupe are an ethnic group native to North Central Nigeria. They are the dominant ethnic group in Niger State and an important minority in Kwara State. The Nupe are also present in Kogi State and The Federal Capital Territory.
The Bayero University Kano (BUK) is a university situated in Kano, Kano State, Nigeria. It was founded in 1975, when it was renamed from Bayero University College and upgraded from University College to University. It is the first university in Kano State, North-western Nigeria.
Bida is a Local Government Area in Niger State, Nigeria and a city on the A124 highway which occupies most of the area.

Usman Sarki dan Malam Saidu MP, CFR was the Federal Minister of Interior from 1959 to 1962 succeeded J. M. Johnson and served as the 10th Etsu Nupe from 1962 to 1969 succeeding the 9th Etsu Nupe Muhammadu Ndayako. He was succeeded by his cousin, the 11th Etsu Nupe Musa Bello.

The Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) is a public research university located in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. It was opened in 1962 as the University of Northern Nigeria. The university has four colleges, three schools, 18 faculties, 110 academic departments, 17 centres, and seven institutes with over 600 professors, about 3000 academic staff and over 7000 non-teaching staff. The university has over 400 postgraduate programmes reflecting its strife to become a postgraduate studies-centred university. The university operates from two campuses in the ancient cosmopolitan city of Zaria, the Samaru Campus where the Senate Building and most of the faculties are located and the Kongo Campus, hosting the faculties of Law and Administration. It has been adjudged to be the largest university in Sub-Saharan Africa, in terms of land occupied, owing to the numerous buildings it has.
