Syed Mohammad Saifur Rahman Nizami is a Bangladeshi Islamic scholar and researcher of Hadith. He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2020 by the government of Bangladesh. [1] [2] [3]

Birth and early life

Nizami was born in the village of North Ichakhali of Ichakhali union in Mirsharai Upazila of Chittagong District. His father was Syed Shah Golam Rahman Echmati. [4]

Career

Nizami was the first chief muhaddis (hadith scholar) at Jamia Ahmadiyya Sunnia Kamil Madrasa, Chittagong. He is the founder of Jameya Rahmania Fazil Madrasa in Mirsarai, Chittagong.
